What level of education do you possess? My god I am sad and sorry for you at the same time.

No, you are wrong on all accounts.
1) What you fail to realize is that most people in this situation have gone back and done those quests.
2) DoL/DoH classes aren't making gil either unless they are taking it from other players which is both losing money (5% tax) and not generating any for the economy.
3) The economy of this game is won't ever settle, just slowly deflate and then crash into the ground once players realize they won't have adequate ways to generate gil for endgame activities.
4) This actual encourages botting because RMT companies can just level 1 class to 50, move the gil and repeat. Who else has the time in a broken economy other than the guy in China paying his people 1.20$ US to play continuously for 12-18 hours in shifts.
And you've heard wrong again but keep on believing and eventually when the problem is at your doorstep you will have wished you listened to your neighbors who wanted to fix the problem.
Even buying certain items from NPCs can sell for more than double on the marketplace. I go from the weaver's guild to the marketplace (about a 8 second sprint away) and put of 10 gil stacks of cotton bolls for 25 gil. That's free money that you make off of idiots if you just do the tiniest amount of research.
Gold Generators:
- Quests
- Fates
- Leves
- Dungeons
Gold Sinks:
- Repairs
- Auction House
- Teleports
There is a big difference between generating gold to the overall economy and generating gold for yourself. The main issue that people are discussing focuses on the long term economy of this game and given that most of the gold generation comes from questing, as the servers become filled with level 50 characters and new players stop coming in, the amount of gold in the servers is going to be depleted by repairs and teleports.
Unlike most of the people posting in this thread..I actually went through and read all of it.
It seems that the problem isn't so much there isn't enough Gil being generated, but that the primary issue here, according to many, is that repair costs are simply too high and there isn't a way around that currently. I don't play nearly enough to be at endgame yet, but I can definitely see and understand how this will become an issue over time as more people hit endgame.
Rather than increase the Gil generation, it seems likely that allowing Dark Matter to be farmed by either DoL or Dungeon drops (or both) and allowing Crafters to repair others gear would alleviate this problem quite a bit.
Whether SE willl agree, or find their own solution, is up to them...
you dont undertand a single thing.... majority didnt complain about that they cant make money we complain about system.. i can make around 75K per day just playing market (cheep buy / sell high) but thats not solution. if my "victims" havent any money where can i make my? ATM i know that buying anything in Ah is complete waste of gil in mont prices will be in 1/10. especialy when you realize that hing end crafts can be practicaly useless. Only reason why im still doing DoH and DoL is "maybe in future there will be "
To provide an example for the uneducated masses, even the so called auction house that many relly on makes the problem worse.
Example: I succesfully sell a weapon for 100K in the auction house. The buyer was named Quesse.
Quesse lost 100K when purchasing the item.
Zeons won 95K when selling the item.
The game deducted 5K (5% of the fee) from the transaction.
Overall: The economy lost 5K.
The big problem with this game is that repair fees are too high, and while auction house items may reduce in price, repairs will not. If the cost of repairs actually adjusted to the amount of money in the economy then we would not have a problem. However, since this activity does not follow the lines of supply and demand, combined with the fact that we do not acquire sufficient gil to compensate fates, leves, and dungeons, we are facing an unstable situation that will force us to create new characters in order to farm gold.
If gil is so hard to get why does it cost $50 bucks for 550k of it from those gil selling websites? It must be easy for them to farm....
I don't buy it or endorse buying it but it's obviously easy to get or it wouldn't cost that little for that much. Gil sellers also wouldn't have millions of it in stock...
