You essentially said the ones threatening to quit weren't even able to communicate with people of other regions to begin with, thus you find it laughable when if anyone quits because they'll lose friends they play with from other regions, chances are they can communicate with them, so it's not "99% of the cases" when no one would quit over not being able to play with people they can't even communicate with lol.

Like others have said, when you connect to XI from the US, for example in CA, you're actually connecting to a data center and not directly to Japan.

Yes, people who join an NA server won't be getting random parties from JP players. But the vast majority of them (again, easily 99%) can't communicate effectively with them anyway- autotranslate only gets you so far.

No one said a damn thing about region locking. People will choose the server closest to them, which means logically why the would NA or JP or AU players randomly be plopped onto an EU data center?

If you "dont want to have to read other langauges on your screen" you probably have some kind of racist veiws you might not even know you have. which is why I used 'Closet Racist'. And is why I used that comment as an example of that term.

It's just like before the game came out when peopel were forming guilds/linkshells. You just all agree to pick a certain server.
