I honestly miss well structured questline designs that offer meaningful rewards. A dynamic progression with occasional random events and multiple systems to make you feel you've accomplished something.
What I dislike is when rewards are locked behind repetitive tasks where you just grind low effort content over and over again, like "kill X monsters" or "repeat this activity 30 times" or "complete the harder version".
A complex system or amount of content isn't a problem if the design behind it is actually engaging. Unfortunately, for years now it often feels like the effort is just padded with repetitive tasks instead of interesting gameplay. And I feel like the current reward structure is part of the problem.
As an endgame raider, I can fully agree with all points in this thread. What a bummer...
