I didn't live any of those moment myself because I aren't that old. and like I have said this is part of history. history is a bloody no matter what and how you see it that is the sad truth of this world. and of they would do something similar to the Nazi as you said well I do think we already have something that look like it. You'd think someone would have voiced concerns at some point in the dozen or so stages of approval in the development pipeline here.
This is so bafflingly insensitive and upsetting, so baffling it should be obvious.

They're alienating the people they were appealing to with dawntrail's release. Why spend so much effort in lovingly honoring latin-american culture only to release something so blatantly offensive.
I already know several people canceled subs over this. Hopefully square will do something or at the very least apologize. They're running out of second chances tho.

Yes. Because Alexandria was a European-style kingdom of knights and magic that was transported to Tural after it advanced into the modern-esque society seen in-story.

This entire line of reasoning is stupid outrage bait born of ignorance and a desire to start fights. I have Latino family members and none of them would think this is a conquistador's outfit if you showed it to them. The armor plating, silhouettes, helmets, and patterns look nothing like the armor of actual Spanish invaders.
