Since when did the raiding community dislike eureka and Bozja, BA is still the most beloved raid in the game except maybe OG rivenroad and nobody explicitly dislikes DRS

Exploratory content zones fit around raiding very well

That is exactly what a grind is. And personally I would only do one relic, but I would dabble. I prefer harder content than grinds myself. I've always only done my main's relic every xpac.

I don't mind this. I'm so busy with other things now days I don't have time for a super long grind. Not that those grinds were ever fun to begin with.

I finished 2 HW weapons, I started on the SB one but didn't like Eureka so I stopped about 3 or 4 zones in. I did finish my ShB weapon as I didn't mind Bozja. Meaning don't talk to me about not wanting to put in effort.

I did all that before I started doing what I do now which takes up most of my free time. If I wasn't doing that, I'd have the time but still not be looking forward to a super long grind.

Since always. I personally liked that sort of content, but a not insignificant portion of the raiding community was not happy. The relic grinds from ARR and Heavensward were similarly received, in that a portion of the raiding community felt getting the weapons was "mandatory" since a lot of them were in actuality stronger than their raid counterparts due to having better secondaries. These are probably the same crybabies that planted the idea in Yoshi-P's head that relics should be useless until the very end of an expansion.

The relics are only BIS long after the final tier is out, sure in some situations they can be the best prog weapons if you are struggling with a tier but you shouldn’t ever be relying on relics to clear a raid tier, and I’m still not sure why that links into not liking eureka, I mean it’s not like launch anima was any faster than the eureka grind

The whole point of playing an MMO is playing with other people. There's no point if I'm the only one who sees it. You're literally living in your own world, as if you've stumbled out of your basement flat with unkempt hair after going three weeks without showering, but you've convinced yourself you're a glamour model because that's what you see.

You're doing it for the gpose shots that only you can see, so you can post them to social media. So yes, it IS literally playing a different game, because it's not playing FF14.

You're aware there is a thing now that lets other people see your mods right? Got like 15-20k people active on it most of the time and rising. I have friends that don't even use mods/plugins for their character in general but have that installed for the sake of seeing their other friends. The argument of it just being for yourself is slowly becoming innacurate.
