In all my years of being called a white knight on the forums, I've had 1 person message me in game to tell me I was embarrassing Balmung... Balmung did a good enough job of that on its own. That was like.. 8 years ago lol.

I... wait, Balmung has something resembling shame? That's news to me.
At any rate, common or uncommon, it's a concern some people have. Right off hand I can think of one fellow that got kicked out of his FC because he said in a forum post something to the effect of Stormblood's story was so bad it made him want to fellate an ignition-based force multiplier. I'm quite certain that example is as rare as it is egregious, but the fact it happened at all lends credence to the idea people keeping their mains hidden is, at the very least, not without merit.
When were such plans announced/formulated? My guess is they were based on expectations from high player counts being added at the time what with the WoW 'exodus'. I'm curious what the current status of these plans is, and the reasoning behind it. Incidentally, it is that same exodus that has made it seem like the figures are haemorrhaging. You're not wrong in pointing out that the game is steadily adding over time, but the bigger question to me is whether the actual player numbers are matching up to whatever expectations and ambitions SE has when it's investing into the game. Funnily enough, LB commented directly on the steam figures and their server plans in the past June and April surveys he did, expressing some measure of concern. We still have a high proportion in the most recent survey of characters who have yet to fully clear EW. I am interested to see how well the expansion will do in retaining them over time. It is fair to ask if it is doing as well as it could be in retaining its players.
Sanctuary might be boring but god damn on the glamour departement it great. They should keep continue having hairstyle and glam gear inside of it. It way better than bozja and the other one.I'm saving gils for once.
Yet in the thread I made asking for achievement points to be displayed on the forum you had this to say:
Which is precisely the sort of tactic you are resorting to here. To say nothing of the fact that you post frequently enough on the lore forum to have seen some of the disturbing comments flung at anyone who dares to like or dislike the 'wrong' characters. As such, it strikes me as disingenuous to take issue with someone deciding to not make their actual main character publicly viewable. Some of us do it, others don't - it's an optional choice.
It's not really stalking. I have a pretty good memory and I've 'debated' often enough with certain posters to quite easily keep track of how they will actively shift to whatever position is needed to oppose someone they like to argue with in any given thread.
Yes, yes it is stalking regardless of the spin you try and put up on your own memory, it still requires fair effort for you to scour through their post history and locate the correct post to find in the first place. Most especially on a post made several years ago, and on someone with a post history of 4,590, no less.
It doesn't require much effort to find when I remember the comment and it's one of my own threads readily accessible from my profile page...
Though what you're doing now is simply trying to deflect. I was countering Alleo's points by highlighting the hypocrisy of her stance and her stalking of Aveyond's profile. What you and your ilk like to do is see someone doing something, remain silent, then when someone else pushes back suddenly there's an outcry over that self-same pushback. Thankfully more people are becoming wise to these tactics.
