6.2 Hrothgar Update

Man I want to like Hrothgar, but SE makes it so damn difficult with how little they care. If you're not going to put the effort in after you launch a race, don't even bother in the first place. This is a lesson children are taught, so why is it so damn difficult for SE to learn?

Because "Oh it's an unpopular concept to begin with, why bother working that hard for something 1% of players will play"?

Like. Yeah, it's niche. But anyone would know it's niche. Sooo why even make them? XD

Ok but seriously. It paaaains me to say it, because I'm into that and I'd like to have a nice puffy chest myself (bc reasons -w-) but.... Reivaxe's right. Beefed up lion-faced men are appealing only to some people. But just because those people are a minority it shouldn't mean we should be ignored.

Again: they decided on making this. We support their endeavour and show we like it. So why all the fuss now? Why act like us liking what they made is such a bad thing?

Midare I do believe she meant "people who want female hrothgar to literally just be male gars with a breast slider" lol.

Sexual Dimorphism of au ra so tragic (ignore faura being the 2nd most populace race ahem) people want Lalafell TWO its so lame.

The IDEAL femgar is karmahos art not....male hrothgar with boobs.
That said I too wish men got a pec slider women have muscle and boob sliders but male hrothgar have a tail slider but no muscle adjuster so...take away female lalas slider and give it mgar we would actually use it!

Ah yes... My dream is for the next patch to roll out and hrothgar to have more hairstyle options with ears or the other racial hairstyles available for every face... Then they'll be no different than viera on that front. It's clear their intention is to have all hairstyles available for at least viera by the end of this expansion, adding a little more every patch. And the reason hroths have those particular new hairstyle choices is that they want to have parity between viera and hrothgar hairstyles (for example you could expect the next hairstyle options for hroth to include rainmaker and both ways even though it's more feminine). Let's just hope they have ears next time.

God I would KILL- kill and maim and slaughter and raze villages to the ground- to get Rainmaker in 6.2. I really hope we do I know they said "well you complained about what a trashfire 6.1 was so it's gonna take longer" but...it can't be that much of a challenge to just let ears clip.
On the same note yes its stupid that mgar have only gotten viera wigs but when fgar finally get rolled out and theres finally a decent female race in the game Id make one just to use Lightnings hair and the GOOD versions of the Neoishgard sets.
(tho if we ever get lv1 glam ungendered versions of neoishgard or the garo sets I won't bother lol)

Assuming you mean @kkron_m on Twitter? Cause if so then I definitely agree with your exquisite taste, I love those designs so much. Perfect balance of feminine and yet still animalistic. I doubt we'll get the tails like in their drawings but if the rest comes out similar than I'll be a very happy Hrothgal.

Personally hoping on the 1st we'll get an update on females, them fixing those embarrassing earless hairs, and converting new options for males (with ears of course) that people will actually use. I feel like this is the bare minimum they need to do for Hrothgar players at this point.

Well, I think he is referring to some of the fan art that people sometimes share around that show femhroths with a very similar bodytype to males. Male characters having a bodytype like that usually flys better; more people would prefer to play a male character of these proportions. This is a pretty respectively sized niche too, male hroths, if I remember, have pretty good numbers considering, and you could probably include male roes into this demographic as well.

Having a Niche is healthy.
Such as myself and many others...Im kinda bored with Human/Humanoid Races. I wanna play something...NOT human or Human looking. And we have NO options for such a thing...until now; enter the stupid OwO Furry/Anthropomorphic/Beast Race. Awesome, something for me, and other like me!
We are obviously going to be the Minority compared to the Catgirls/Miqote, the Au-ra, and the Viera.....Ok? Doesnt mean we should be ignored or treated like we dont exist.
And 1% among the Global playerbase (across ALL Datacenters) isnt a Horrifically small number. Its small, but its still a playerbase.

Ive fought against that silly statement many times.
Strong Sexy women exist, they are not men with boobs or built like refrigerators. Women have more then 1 body type.
"Improved" FemRoe body would be more then perfect. If they used a "improved" version of the MaleRoes, I think they should follow suit.

Ye. It's what I keep saying. We're 2% of the whole playerbase, but we're FAR MORE than that in terms of players at endgame. We CARE about the game.
We're "the furry" option, yeah... but like :| furries are cool. They're weird, I know, but they're cool. Cooler than a lot of squid faced Hyur here, lemme tell you...

Besides :p We're the minority and all that... but we're a part of the playerbase. We paid for the game too. Hell, we're playing a race that's still paywalled. And we still love it and wish it the best. It's got to count for something.

And I'm sure it's this look, the one that @Kkron_m on twitter uses for all of their female hrothgar art. Since it's the perfect mix of Beastly and Femme without needing to go too far in either direction.
