Machinist needs help.

i say it again we need another gunner class like Laguna FF8 and the ability to use more modern guns, i would like yoshi p to make shuch a class

IMO, that's what MCH should be, swapping between tools that locks abilities like Reaper's Enshroud.
The neat part is that it doesn't change a lot the rotation since Hypercharge phases are just exactly that, phases of 10 seconds where you use Heatblast/GR/R and nothing else.

u dont have to look farther than Gw2 engineer , it has a FT tool that once used it converts all your attacks to FT mode

1 Flame Jet Spray fire in a cone pattern while moving, burning foes on the final attack. Deals 10% bonus damage to burning targets.
2 Flame Blast Fire a napalm ball that rolls through foes and explodes.
3 Air Blast Push back foes and projectiles with a hot-air blast, burning foes that are already on fire.
4 Napalm Burn foes with a wall of napalm at the target location.
5 Smoke Vent Vent smoke from your flamethrower, blinding nearby foes.

I’ll say this again, we don’t need to WASTE a job slot for a job that already very much exists in the game. It’s not rocket science to make MCH a duel job like so many others in the game. Right now it’s just GCD and OGCD gadget spamming which isn’t Inherently unique. Far cry from its augmentations, Ammunition and turret control

Im very much in the minority but I can’t stand heatblast spam and GCD dribble. Pretty sure more can be done with the system itself rather than it being a toothless weaving mechanic every 22.5 seconds.

I'd like more robots, and a flamethrower robot would definitely be a cool option.

IS not wasted space multiple mmorpgs are adding diffrent gunner classes, is there sooner or later, how hard is for us to play as a true gunner without relying on machines? Look at Laguna FF8 and in dissidia he uses the weapons i want to use. :(

broken record, u keep saying Laguna this scouter that this mmo did it therefore ff14 should. It IS wasted space and would rather get unique jobs for its last slots. Am I so disgusted with the idea? mmm not really as MCH has zero gunner appeal with its only gun skills being 1-2-3 now that spread shot is replaced by a contraption. but if they can reinvgorate the job with its gunner swaager back id prefer it.

I still say anothe rgun class can be added, hate me if you like but MHC relies on machines, and i personally don't like it at all, idc if its a tribute to edgar but i really want to use proper scifi weapons simple as that , range has 3 classes while melee now has 4 or maybe even 5 since the expansions will keep coming, people want time mage, some others want a beast tamer with whips, there people who dream about a class fit for them that they wish to see into the game, again MCH dose not suck but it dose not feel like a true gunner class is Or they can add a gunslinger with handguns etc i say anything is possible.

All of this about my ideas of Scouter or Another gun class is cause i love scifi and what better way to waste enemies with it, you also have a dream class you would like to see in the game right? XD anyways is not like Yoshi P reads all of this in the first place, we all sharing ideas :D.

Don’t be dramatic I don’t “hate” any potential ideas, but MCH was advertised since HW as a gunner jobs. The simple fact as to why it doesn’t utilize it is the fandoms fault and the devs negligence. Solution isn’t to have another one, I mean how would a skill spread even look? It’ll be shallow and we don’t need more one button wonders like SMN or DNC

Excellent point adding more skills for more variety of guns would be the right choice but Yoshi p stated that adding more skills means filling the hotbars into insanity, so this is why i said why don't yoshi p add another gunner class that focuses on more modern solid style of warfare, we have now like 6 melees, 4 Tanks, 4 Healers, 4 Mages(Even though Blue mage is difficult and is a stand alone class) and 3 Ranged, i also would like to note that yoshi confirmed more expansion are coming after endwalker so the story will continue for more years.

I would say Yoshi p and the FF14 team should look at Laguna and his Gameplay from Dissidia, is bound to happen sooner or later even if people don't agree with me at all, let machinist then handle more machines but adding another ranged class that focuses more on more guns for me would be the ideal.
