Go to any MMO forum, any where Parsers have been a topic, note how very quickly it turns toxic once parsers are implemented with people calling out others and dumpstering on them.

SE has that data fully available to them as MMO companies share that information.

You don't know better than them and judging by your choice of sarcastic one line response, you'd probably be one to be at the forefront of using it to shame people.

Rift. The parser was begged for, week one of implementation there were threads and threads of "dunking" and class exclusion.

And calling someone out is unnecessary, you can easily see who is not doing their job without a parser, you can quietly and calmly offer them advice and coaching without going "XYZ HAS A TERRIBLE PARSE EVERYONE KICK THEM"

It's a dead horse topic, Yoshi P said no, it's not going to happen. Let it go.

Yes you should because the case is one hundred percent closed on this. ARR flying wasn't no but maybe, QoL changes were when we have time.

He straight up and emphatically said "No" to the parser, SE adopted a "banned if caught using" stance

So let the topic go.

It won't happen as long as Yoshi P is FFXIV director.

There's too strong a case against parsers and how they are often a tool used poorly, Square Enix will literally ban your account if you openly admit to using that tool.

That's as much "Not happening" as it's ever going to be.

I know you former game that shall not be named players want every game to be that game you left this one for, but it's not going to happen.

If you so desperately want that game, why not go back to it instead of trying to turn every other game into it?

No, they'll ban you for harassing people with information obtained through parsing. The mere fact that threads and discussions on the topic such as this one exist and are allowed to continue openly on these forums demonstrates the point. Its why its "Don't ask, Don't tell" and the reason the topic is being discussed is because as we all know

Devs only read JP threads, they just eye roll and ignore these.

It's not the devs who ban people, it's the GMs. In this case it would be a forum moderator, these are not the same people actively working on the game.

GMs ban ingane yes, as do Moderators from the forums (who often work hand in glove with GMs), whom work in departments which are directed by Moderator and GM leads who take threads/Questions of interest to the Dev team
