And jump on my 50.... he'd engage a level 8 MOB... I'd one shot it.. rinse and repeat....
Ahh... but thats not to say level sync would be ignored.....
By the time he got to Level 10, he'd find a level 1 to party and sync with.... and then its back to slaughtering Wharf rats and sewer moles....
ok.. so make it so the lowest you can sink to is 20.. then I'd PL him to 30, he'd find someone L20 to sync to.. get them to 30, find someone elses 20... and so on... Never having to fight ANYTHING that my level 50 can't 1 shot
so yea... bring on level sync.... so we, as a community can exploit the shit out of it -

Bibiki was used 50-60 because it was easier to get to than the Cape, and safer, and allowed more camps, and didn't require special access to get to like moon gates and sky. You're complaining of level sync killing exp camps. When in fact those camps went out of style as new zones were introduced.
Post level sync I level'd my dancer through 10-18/20 ish in the dunes went to qufim 20-28ish yes i sync'd there for a bit, hit up the jungles from 28-32ish hit up the citadel til 35, went to crawlers nest til 37, Ronfarue (s) til about 42 back to cralwers nest (harder crawlers / flies) til about 47 (i think) I even XP'd on bats and beetles in the basement of the citadel when i was 48-52ish. I then key'd my way to 75 and leveled in aby til 90.
Sometimes I was the person they level sync'd to, some times I joined a bit of a lower level party, but I never once dipped more then 10 levels below my actual level. I visited many old camps I visited new camps. Camps never changed due to level sync, they changed due to easier mobs of what ever level you currently were.
Remember before CoP, most exp camps involved killing crabs? Why because they didn't have a move that would 1 shot, or an AOE w/ high dmg. So as we leveled up we found higher level crabs.
Level sync didn't kill zones or the leveling experience. Adding new zones killed old favorite camps. Aby killed the leveling experience.
And as for being PL in XI vs XIV.... Two completely different things. PL in XI meant healing from outside the PT. Not killing mobs so you gain xp (until aby was introduced)

All SE has to do is eliminate the ability of people outside the PT to attacked claimed mobs. Something I hope they do come Ver 2.0 -

So what happens? If you want a d*mn party, you're going to party at level 12. Is that fair to everyone who's higher than 12?
I guarantee someone's going to say "If you don't want to level sync, you could just solo." So because you don't want to play at lv12 with broken, sync'd-down gear (or buy another gear set), you've got to slow your exp to, compared to a party, a crawl? -

It's about options.
If there are a few people in the high 20's low 30 range that need 3-4 more people to fill up a PT why shouldn't the people that are too high be able to join? There isn't a good reason for them not to. Only thing that keeps them apart is the barrier of the level gap. -

Wait, are you suggesting that a sync should allow players to play a higher level then they have earned, just so they can XP with higher levels.....Talk about a failed idea. In my experience, I have never seen an system that allowed anyone to level at a higher rank that worked, not to mention, I think its a horrible idea for XIV
