Inventory issues still exist. Why keep adding gear to the game and not room? Glam log

OP, please stop, you are a hoarder, so am I. The principle of improving inventory management is very valid and one that I want addressed very much, however your attitude in this thread is appalling and is detrimental to those of us that want what you are asking for.

Listen to those that disagree, alter your argument if necessary, and counter with valid points. What you are doing is crying foul, and acting like an entitled child and you are handling this thread extremely poorly.

I have 3 that are glamour filled. Most of it is the new artifact gear, quest gear(like the Sable Death Mask, Head Bandage, etc.), and the Garo gear...yes, ALL of the Garo gear directly from the PVP vender. The rest of the glamour gear is stuff that took me many runs to get, or cost a fair bit on the MB at the time of purchase(haven't looked at some of it to determine if the price has gone down or not).

So, for me, a lot of it is stuff that was a pain to get and I don't want to have to grind out whatever(be it a currency or a dungeon) to get it again. One retainer is 85% full on dyes AND materia...but I've been selling the materia fairly frequently too. Not to mention the Gazelleskin map that each of them holds too.

Uh...you can repurchase those items as long as you have gotten the achievement or completed the quest line. (minus the garo accessories, but you can just hold onto one set since they all look the same and are "all classes")

Go check the calamity salvager...because you are wasting a lot of space on things you can simply rebuy with moderate gil if you wish to glam it again.

I spend so little time in the cities, I honestly never even looked at the calamity salvager people...definitely will need to so I can see what to clear out.

Yeah if you never knew about it there is probably a lot of things you can toss to clear space.

Sable Death Mask for instance only costs 100gil to rebuy if you want it later. 100g definitely worth clearing up a space.

Yes as Miste says, every single item gotten from a quest can be bought back from the calamity salvager so if you're not using one of those, scrap it. No reason to keep it. This also goes to all achievement rewards as well. Including GARO. For GARO you will be able to repurchase a set as long as you got the achievement for it.

If the last thing I said works for 4.0+ then what seems to be the issue? I feel you can easily do it with one character and could before. Time gating doesn't really alter that. :-P

That is such a ridiculous system. It's worse than the armoire....some generic, unadvertised, unintuitive, nonsensical out of the way place you can pay money to repurchase stuff you forgot you owned. That is why they need to overhaul the glam system and get a modern glam log. Sure it would help inventory to get the stuff out of there, but it's a serious quality of life issue when you have to dig through multiple retainers, chests, and random NPCs to find a pair of boots.

At least we have it...instead of nothing?

Everyone would appreciate a glam log, but at least we have the salvager until such a day where it gets added. So I wouldn't complain about The Calamity Salvager to be honest... It's better than nothing.

Edit: clarified my post since some people don't understand what I meant.
