Just wanted to pipe in and say that I'm having the same issue.

Power outage and then a huge update. Never used to happened before.

I hope they find out what's causing it and find a resolution in the immediate future.

Had a powercut this afternoon and now i need to download 22.7gb of data. Is my game corrupted and trying to recover data?

This is going crazy now. 500 minutes of DL which means no game for me today. Another technical issue it seems

I pre-ordered it for early access, after reading this problems I don't have a courage to open the PS4 now because the place I live in occur frequent blackout.

I want to play Stormblood without any worries, need to chant holy sermons and prayers before playing tonight for not to blackout, brownout, power shortage or PS4 freeze. lol

Anyway this shit need to fix right now, nobody deserves this!

Any possibility to avoid this by using the game disk? I received it today

Yep..4th time here... 7hours each one....same issue as everyone, poweroutage and then 22g to download. this is so frustating.

I just had power outage and experienced the same issue.
With my internet, 22.7gb will take over 1000 mins which is very frustrating.

I'm really enjoying the expansion and hope this get fixed soon.
ps. This is my 1st time posting on the forum.

First time posting on this forum just to say this has happened to me on PS4. Also to say that PSN has the slowest download rate ever :(

Yeah mine caps at 1.40MB/s where my usual internet is more around 50MB. I dont know if there s a solution to increase the DL rate at least? It wouldnt be that bad if the DL took one hour or so.

I have 60MB down for my local cable and I am currently capped at 0.65mb/s downloading this patch!
