I really hope that new genders for some races is going to come along with one-time-only chance for old players to re-edit their main character

yes already been said but that point never gets old and i hope they do allow at least one remap of what your character looks like

Something more suited to a fantasy game and a little less clichéd as cat people would be great.

The Viera, Gria, Urutan-Yensa, just to name a few haha, oh and Whatever the summoner race,and whatever Freyas race was from Final Fantasy 9. Some kind of dwarf race would also be cool.

Uh lalafell are a dwarf race.

i would like to see like a little fox guy about the size of a lala but not as humanoid as a miquite. Would make a good thief.

Any of the original Final Fantasy races would be very welcome. It would add to that FF feel in the game. So any of these please!

Note to OP, Reinheart maybe you could gather the most popular suggestions and edit your main post with a TOP 5 requests. I'm sure the devs would like that and they would have a better idea of what races we would like to see.
