Think the entrance to the harder duengons are going to be a skull with the "lightning" around it as a "barrier" looks strangly familar... /vomit

Since im qqing at the look here is an idea...
Why not use a moogle for the instance intrance your in the right regon they wander around doing moogle biz in the woods yelling at you for angering ferngully. "Its dangerous to go in there kupo. We are blocking the kupo way in kupo. The forest tells me you have been chosen to free us from this doom kupo." (moogle uses magic to put your party in the instance).

What about the conjurer npcs who warn you of the "hell" that lies beyond and that the empire being in there sifting through the doom is someway related to the end of the world.... you go in vader shows up you get a cool fight where you cut off his mask it looks like the take on me video with color.. you know the rest (lol couldent resist).

I quite like that swirly glowy thing in the picture (that i assume is the entrance barrier). Works fine for the job imo, I can't see what the thing is in the centre but I doubt it's something as cheap as a skull ala WoW.

A few XI dungeons had entrances of that design (not exact, but Promyvion for example had something similar) and dynamis had glowing light blocks to exits/entrances.
