If you mean the "tan skin" link to the few manga-like pictures of a woman in swimsuit/underwears? That's not hentai. xD
To qualify something as Pornography/Hentai, there has to be a sexual activity or explicit sexual pose. Even nudity does not qualify as pornography, if it does not fit the sexual condition.

Yeah, it's not uncommon to create a character that apparently looks like we want inside the Character Creator, but then we're not happy with the result when spawned in the world.
Personally, I find the "sunny landscape" background to be the less deceptive and also the most matching when open-world roaming.
Otherwise like in the Character Creator areas, the various game zones and dungeons use various lightings. I guess it's best to find the allround tint that for you looks the best in all conditions inside the Character Creator.

Lodestone to compare heads since that is the only place i found where light doesn't twist the color.

I have been messing with the skin colors for now a couple hours and i just cannot get it right. It's either to brown or to white but never this tan/orange'ish look.
