sorry guys! i should have been more specific

what's the current BiS set-up for a pre-t5 monk under the "i'm not a big fan of skill-speed" build? (i'm probably going to use allagan gloves instead of myth, tho. the diff between the two is negligible and allagan gloves just look so cool)

New monk here and trying to make it into my main, I have 0 experience with this class since I leveled it with daily low-level roulette only where I could use 2-4 skills at best.
Been looking around at various guides and truth be told everyone has a different rotation or the next best thing, which is giving me a headache.

On another note has anyone tried this build to know what the average dps of it is?
I'm looking for a proper build all while knowing the what exactly the next skill is (3x snap punch, how?)

The gear I'm using for T5 is Determination oriented with low Skill Speed and doesn't have any T5 drop (RNG decided I should get DRG drops and not MNK :<) , it has the EX Primal weapon though.

Head: Allagan Visor
Neck: Allagan Choker of Striking
Chest: Melee Cyclass
Hands: Allagan Gauntlets of Striking
Legs: Melee Gaskins
Feet: Allagan Sollerets of Striking
Waist: Allagan Tassets of Striking
Ear: Tremor Earrings of Striking
Ring1: Allagan Ring of Striking
Ring2: Allagan Ring of Maiming

finally got the visor! maybe twin will drop the baghnakhs this week... probably not

i guess i'll see in about 20 min

Fate already kicked me in the teeth this week, repeat drop (bow) and the Allagan Helm. :(

Starting to think I won't get the Allagan Cuirass or Baghnakhs until the patch.

Lol, this is the exact same set I'm using for T5. No T5 drops either here. This week it was Axe (again) and Dragoon Feet (No one [in the static] use DRG. Not even as a subclass...). But I'm already getting used to wait 20+ weeks till I can see my loot. Meh.

Well, Twintania decided to drop the MNK chest yesterday, so yay I guess? Better late than never :<

afaik optimal monk rotation after the opening with Fracture incorporated:

Dragon Kick -> Twin Snakes -> Demolish -> Touch of Death

Bootshine -> True Strike -> Snap Punch

Dragon Kick -> Twin Snakes -> Snap Punch -> Fracture

Bootshine -> True Strike -> Demolish

Dragon Kick -> Twin Snakes -> Snap Punch

Bootshine -> True Strike -> Snap Punch -> Touch of Death

Dragon Kick -> Twin Snakes -> Demolish -> Fracture

Bootshine -> True Strike -> Snap Punch

Dragon Kick -> Twin Snakes -> Snap Punch

Bootshine -> True Strike -> Demolish ->

Dragon Kick -> Twin Snakes -> Snap Punch -> Touch of Death

Bootshine -> True Strike -> Snap Punch

Dragon Kick -> Twin Snakes -> Demolish -> Fracture


Basically, I use Fracture after the first Dragon Kick after every Touch of Death to help with the timing.
