I know it has been mentioned many times, but I just can't get SE's justification about the chat bubbles.
There it is for the NPC, so why not for the PC? I highly think it consume any sort of resources. And plus, please make chat bubbles optional. It's like adjusting your graphic setting (If you still imply that it would cost memory or whatever if you turn it on)
;.; Can we please get a transparency slider for the chatbox background already? Pretty please?
[edit] All excellent things suggested in the post directly below mine.
Some MMORPG standards still missing:
-Chat hyper text (aka: "item link" shift+click) for chat.
-HP "%" as an option on health bars.
-Auto dismount when talking to an npc or finally allow us to talk while mounted.
-Right click interact on party member list, even if they're in another zone or offline.
-More flexible dungeons/instance system:
Allow us to enter in solo, or less than 4 ppl, remove the timers, let the players enter/exit the instance freely (no more oh i forgot to repair, let's exit ALL guys). In other MMORPG if another of your party member is already in, you can "right click" on him, and select "join the player dungeon" or things like that.
Since crafting items like Coke/Potash are going to be a thing going forward (with Mythology having similar items in 2.2), can we please get the option to buy 9 at once? That would be really convenient and I can't imagine it would be hard to do...
Also, because I feel like repeating myself; My Bard would like it if I could see party members TP, and if the Focus Target allowed me to see Party Members MP/TP as well, should I Focus Target them.
18. I believe this has already been talked about by SE, but just in case I wanted to add it to my list of QoL update requests: Equipment compare on any mouse over of an item. It's a tad frustrating when you complete a quest and the NPC provides you a multiple choice in gear reward, only to not be able to pull up your character window to compare what you have on manually. Having a second window display next to the original equipment window would be ideal as you mouse over the item, or perhaps just show red text for lower stats, green for higher stats, white for no change in the info window. This is a fair standard feature in any RPG game.
19a. Being able to place a "Seeking equipment repair" icon next to your name, just as you can for AFK, seeking party, etc. 19b. This of course then also would require the functionality of players being able to actually repair other people's equipment... Right click player, request repair. Just like meld requests. Or better yet, allow us to right click on our own character's equipment and mark an item for repairs. A window will display for confirm and what amount of Gil the player would like to donate to the person who repairs it (this window will also notify you if you have the proper grade material in your inventory for the crafter to use. 19c. Or you could have it where the crafter uses their own, which means equipment repair donations will then be affected by market prices of the materials needed.
This is such an awesome topic. I've noticed over the months that features on this list have been added, and that makes me happy!
However, the Duty List option should bear some clarification. The Duty List needs the option to hide or show individual quests from your log, while always displaying the current duty you are in (like a dungeon, or FATE, for example, since those are temporary, and arbitrary quests).
I have seen that a non-functional check-box has been added to the Quest Journal, but I'm confused as to its purpose. It doesn't allow you to hide anything, and it doesn't seem to be working at all for any purpose whatsoever.
A bug report has been filed here, but it was moved to the "Website Bugs & Suggestions" section. I'm very confused, lol.
