Am I the only person that thinks a lot of the new PLD sword models are just too small? I miss heftier more knightly swords. Maybe not as large in silhouette as Curtana, but something that's closer in dimensions and proportion to that.

Yep, correct-- it's one of the reasons I glamed the Galatyn over my current ilvl 490 sword in those images I posted. It's a much larger looking weapon than several of the newer Paladin weaponry-- really does look more "knightly".

I've been learning how to tank as a DPS main. Made a few alts for it and developed primary glams for them. Two are paladins because I realized I don't do knight-in-shining-armor looks a lot despite liking Final Fantasy's takes on them. Wanted to try one that really ran with that concept as much as dark knights (frequently) celebrate gothy aesthetics. I still wanted to be consistent with the style for my au ra though.

Tried to build clear tones for each character!

Begun playing this game in 3.0. Been wanting to own this and all Crystal Tower 24raid tank sets ever since. And last week I got the last missing gear piece, Demon Sabatons of Fending :)
IK this set has seen dyeable reruns as Chromite(?) and Forgiven tank sets, but I'm pretty sure both kill the nice colorful details the original has.

This is what I currently use for Dark Knight. The Bluespirit Fending set, dyed Gunmetal Black, but with the Orbonne Monastery Tank pants. Not exactly the most original of ideas, but I dig the sleek look of the armor and it actually dyes pretty well.
