So sorry to see Rivienne leaving ... sob... sob.
Looking forward to the next challenge :)
With only one round left before the final, things are seriously heating up! Sadly, we lost Rivienne last round - she clearly decided to remain with the Gnath to try and get a head start on those new beast tribe quests. Down to four, we have only model to lose before we have our final three!
The round theme this week was simple - dungeons! The models were given the following task:
The title explains it - go into any dungeon in the game and give us an awesome shot, yes any dungeon you want and make it great! Can’t wait to see what you do with this because there are tons of possibilities!
Shots can be found here
Voting form can be found here
As always, order models in order of preference! Voting for this round ends at 11:59pm EST February 16th.
Best of luck and see you in the finals!
Great challenge this week! Although I would have expected more action shots, almost no one is fighting. Those prissy models :p
Nice shots from the contestants anyhow!
In my opinion there was a very clear winner this time ;)
Voting is almost over! Gets yours in!! :D
It is now time to find out who will be fighting it out for the title of:
EORZEA'S NEXT TOP MODEL!!
But first we will be looking at the Judges Critiques~!
Ciara
Stephen- Winner winner chicken dinner! This shot has everything! great lighting, an air of suspense, a story and fits the whole "tell a story" so many after in this competition. I love your selection of clothing and it didn't take me more than a millisecond to know what you were going for and I approve! Love it!
Kitori- This is a great shot for a risque and I really feel you pulled it off! I love your pose in this shot and give you kudos for taking the risk to make it happen. The only thing I would change is your bottoms. I almost feel like it comes off a little NSFW when looked at first! Still I love that you took this risk and I’m super proud of you!
Annouille- Basked in the light of the moon you rock that dark look from the outfit to your horns and the FANTASTIC lighting. Truth be told I love everything about this shot and I’m really impressed. Great job Annouille!
Eldaena- I’ve always loved this area and had thought to take pictures but you captured my imagination perfectly! The colors are so warm and you look gorgeous. You took a risk in your pose and I think like Kitori it really paid off. Lovely job Eldaena!
Nozomi
Stephen Fairbrook - I'm liking the story in your shot this week, Stephen! I can imagine your little potato exploring crypts and stuff for treasures and gil, or perhaps he's a detective looking into a murder that stumbled on the trap that killed your client's friend. Point is the viewer can imagine stuff because your shot had a story all on its own and your sentence just added a tiny bit of context to guide our minds in the right direction. Pretty good lighting; a bit too much similar tone in your surroundings that had the potential to get you lost in the background but somehow it doesn't. Normally I would recommend using a sun minion here but something about your flatter colors and lighting in the foreground is helping your stand out. Nice neutral outfit adds to the story but isn't too specific. Might not be planned but getting the dark red spread evenly throughout your body was a nice move that tied the hat and weapon both into the shot. Although you made it work with the red, thematically the bow looks a bit out of place in this shot because of the lightning and bright purple. Perhaps a plainer bow would make more sense. Your cute little extras are wonderfully positioned (I love their happy grins) and posed so that they feel menacing but don't take too much attention away from you. Your own pose is good for the shot and your expression works fine. Nice dungeon shot!
Kitori Orihara - What a dramatic pose! Your profile looks really good from what I can tell and the sword and shield frame it nicely. One of the biggest problems here is that those raptors are the stars of the show in this shot while you're a small, barely visible figure who has almost become part of the background. You're the model so you have to put those loonies in their place under you in importance. Not sure I like the almost perfect divide in the light on the shield; it's coming across a bit sharp. Don't know how you managed it with where the light is coming from but your face is well lit. Your pants give the unfortunate impression that you're wearing chaps with nothing underneath. Having yourself center with the two raptors pointed inward would have worked to direct the attention to you in other circumstances but with how far away you are and your poor lighting it just makes your lack of visibility more obvious. Good angles on the cuties. The splash by the right one's leg adds to the sense of action the same as yours; good job. Your background lacks truly interesting elements and the foreground is nice water, but it's poorly lit which reduces the pretty factor. I don't know if this dungeon choice held a lot of meaning for you but it isn't really all that screenshot friendly in my opinion. The lighting is lackluster and the general setting is of junk piled up. The lighting on the raptors is very nice.
Annouille Andouillant - This is just straight up beautiful. Although you didn't create a scene to imply a specific story I can still see a story here because of the other elements in this shot. Excellent lighting both for you and your background. For you it highlights the important things and ties you into the setting by leaving your less important features in shadow. The lack of dead-on light on your face keeps it from looking too flat and the angles of your body do the same which helps you stay very 3-dimensional in a shot with you right in front of the camera and a close background. Your background looks amazing but only enhances your own beauty instead of overwhelming it through your use of lighting and the angle you have the stairs at. You keep the eyes moving around the shot with the downward and left flow of the stairs and the upward and right pull of your gaze. Your outfit was perfect for this shot, spot on. You look very rich and fancy, and with the setting/concept, somewhat dark. Great choice on accessories and those horns really pull the whole thing together and give the story credibility (thanks for not opting to use the succubus horns; these are much more subtle and enhancing instead of show stealing). Good decision to crop where you did instead of trying to get your whole body in the shot. Smart decision to forgo all obvious makeup; this way your whole look shines, plus it adds to your story. In a sea of muddled oil paint tones your sausage shines like a diamond.
Eldaena Vonxandria - Great use of The Vault's dramatic lighting! Your outfit fits the setting well theme-wise and also just looks excellent in that light. Your overall composition looks well thought out and I feel like I should love it more than I do. Your use of purple in your outfit sets you apart from you background without making you look out of place in a way that a totally warm color or very cool color wouldn’t have. Looking at your shot alone I don't see a story even though you look like you fit in. Your pose is nice enough but I like from your shoulders down the best as your face is a bit overexposed. Your hair is still white I assume, but changed by the zone lighting? Nice accessory even though it isn't too noticeable right away. This shot is okay with you centered but I wonder how it would look with you more off to the side? The straight on angle for the background might be leaving things a bit static; perhaps a dramatic shot looking up at you from down by your left foot. I already kind of said it but the lighting on that skirt area is divine.

Remember scoring is as follows:
For scoring, each model was awarded points based on their placement in vote order. So, if Model A was ranked 1st out of the 11 models, they gained 11 points. 2nd place gained 10 points and so on, until the 11th ranked model gains 1 point. We then tally the judge scores too, which get inflated to count for 75% of the total vote. Below are the total rankings, along with the public score count and judge total pre-inflation.
Overall Results:
Annouille Andouillant: (236 public, 11 judge)
Stephen Fairbrook: (220 public, 9 judge)
Eldaena Vonxandria: (219 public, 7 judge)
Kitori Orihara: (199 public, 3 judge)
Congratulations to Annouille for getting first place this week~! But now that we have reached the top three… will you rise to the ultimate heights? It is anyone’s game!!
As for Kitori, you came back with a vengeance and made it into the top 4. You’re amazing, and we hope to see more from you! Remember you’re always part of the ENTM Family – and from myself, Ty and the judges, we will miss you!

Nice reviews by the judges and Xev in particular for his poster interpretations, lol.
Now I expect the gloves to come off and for the models to start bitching, plotting and fighting each other in earnest! THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE!
New fresh-faced amateur models are ready to be corrupted by the industry ;)

Hello Everyone!!
I first off want to apologize for being sort of away for awhile now especially since the last update I gave on ENTM YT3, I've been dealing with A LOT of personal issues during and even after all the holidays came. (So now I'm sort of glad I canceled during the holidays when I did, I doubt I'd been at my best to run everything properly.) But regardless both in my real life and some issues I've had even in the game, have really pre-occupied both my time and state of mind and sanity. But things are starting to calm down and fall back into place as normal as my life gets lol.
I will have an announcement by the end of the month of how ENTM YT3 and I will be moving on, and what those details will entail. I again apologize for not keeping up with the skype convos, a lot of stuff on here on the forums and so forth, but life really has been quite demanding of me as of late and it desperately needed my attention the most. But I hope to convey all things soon and what will be happening. I hope all who are involved/was involved with Cycle 5 Forum has/having fun! And I can't wait to see the community to grow even more! I love you all very much and you'll hear from me as soon as I possibly can.
Thank you all for your patience and understanding.
I loved the movie poster reviews! They made me laugh, especially the one for Stephen's (Taters of the Lost Ark, hehehe). Can't believe Cycle 5 will be ending soon though, I'm simultaneously nervous and relieved :'D
It’s been a long journey, ENTM fans - but we’re here at last. The final round of Eorzea’s Next Top Model!
Last week saw our final elimination of the Cycle as, despite an impressive comeback after scraping through in an early round, Kitori finally succumbed and last we heard is still off fighting against those raptors while trying to escape a rather explosive gift from a Goblin friend.
For this final round, the models were given a very special challenge. We’ve spent this Cycle looking Heavensward, celebrating all the new shiny things we’ve been playing with since Ishgard opened its gates - and so for this round, we turned our eyes forward once more. We wanted to really stretch the creativity of our models, so we asked them to show us what new job they want to see added! Here’s the instructions they were given.
Everyone loves to think up new jobs for FFXIV, some come from the past games and some are all new creations. Create a look for a whole new job that you would like to see in the game!
See the shots here!
Now, with this being the final round it’s not just about the last shot! No, this week we want you to cast your vote based upon the entire portfolio of each model! So, without further ado...here they are!
The Astounding Annouille
The Exceptional Eldaena
The Sensational Stephen
Please cast your votes with THIS FORM!
Best of luck to all the models! The round will close at 11:59pm EST Tuesday, February 23rd. Let’s find out who will be Eorzea’s Next Top Model!
Wheeeee final round! Good luck everyone! It's been really fun for the past couple of months ;v;
Couldn't use this shot for the final but I wanted to post it here because I'm really proud of it (thanks Ty and Kai for letting me resubmit it :'D)

More outtakes and things over here! http://elfymcnoodlelimbs.tumblr.com/post/139643285100/
I voted!
Since my Skype died and I need to figure out how to reinstall it (thanks Windows 10), I'd like to leave a few notes for the finalists. (Not really critiques, just thoughts.)
Annouille, you have shown an amazing amount of growth during the competition. Your final round entry has been the strongest out of all your shots, I think. Consistent improvement is one way to make it to the top!
Stephen, you're the only other ENTM person I've met in the real world :) I love the touch of adorableness that sings out in every one of your shots. I'd love to be a puppetmaster in XIV as well!
Eldaena - I always considered you sort of my "rival" unofficially, knowing you were always the person I should strive to beat. This final round shows exactly why. Not just an amazing outfit, but one of the most incredible screenshots I've ever seen you produce. I'm still picking my jaw off the floor.
Its almost over~! You have until tomorrow (Tuesday) at 11:59 pm EST to vote for who you think should be Eorzea's Next Top Model!
So many incredible shots! I've missed pretty much the whole season, so it was nice to get to look back. I'm very impressed and it's making me miss doing advanced screenshotting myself XD
However, I have given my vote for this final round and wish all of you the best of luck ^_^
(Xev: Those posters blew me away!!! Pure amazeballs *swoon*)
THIS IS IT – THE FINALS!! THE WINNER WILL BE ANNOUNCED TONIGHT IN FRONT OF A LIVE STUDIO AUDIENCE… or a bunch of people on the forums and tumblr (which honestly is much better)!
But first we would like to have a word from our sponsors, or as we like to call them… Judges.
This week we asked our models: Everyone loves to think up new jobs for FFXIV, some come from the past games and some are all new creations. Create a look for a whole new job that you would like to see in the game!
Not only did the judges and fans score them on this, but on their whole portfolio! Here is what the judges had to say!
Ciara:
Eldaena-
Wow this is a gorgeous shot to finish on! I am very impressed with your shots in this cycle and your ability to really take ideas and concepts and made them happen. Your colors, hues and magic effects really make this shot shine, and yet don't pull focus from you too much. The light blur in the background with such a high quality of these effects really raise the bar on not letting game limitations stop people from making such a gorgeous shot. I love that you managed to capture this unique idea and really make me want this job in game. gorgeous shot Eldaena, as are your others!
Stephen-
Though some might feel this shot is perhaps a bit plainer of a background I really feel simple did the trick here. The light shadowing of Ul'dah in the background makes for a pleasant bit of activity while the dusty clouds only manage to warm the shot and bring on the color palette you chose for this picture. You have managed to capture a great job and make us yearn to see its return in our world. Your color scheme goes great with your background and I love how you almost look ready to break into song. I’ve been very proud of your shots this cycle and have not been disappointed. Everyone's done such a fantastic job bringing out what makes this competition so much fun! Amazing work Stephen!
Annouille-
Ahh yes the red mage. Dream of many and favorite to even more. You caught a lovely background and mixture of color to show off this job. The reds, greens, blues, and browns manage to blend gloriously without looking tacky and you chose a smart part of Ifrits area to keep it from anything but bland. Your outfit is spot on to what I feel a red mage would be here in FFXIV. That sword was a lovely choice and your outfit pulls off the true colors and elegance that I feel red mage portrays. I wish you hadn't done a side shot here as it doesn't really show off how gorgeous both you and your glamour are. Nevertheless, this shot is gorgeous and reminds me of how amazing and strong your shots have been all round. I have loved the chance to get to be a part of this competition again and to bask in the gloriousness you have all brought to this contest. Excellent job Annouille!
Nozomi:
Eldaena Vonxandria –
Another amazing and unique shot from you; definitely worthy of the final round! Expert effects layering like you've done here really gives a novel feel that befits a new job. This whole thing is entirely believable as a job because of everything you put in this shot; no element is unnecessary and thus all are essential to the success of it. Your overall palette feels very artificial and technology heavy which is exactly the aesthetic of magitek. Although having your character so poorly lit would normally be a big no no, you have once more found one of the extremely few instances where that is exactly what is needed to make a shot effective. Your powerful and direct pose combined with the lack of glow on your body immediately draws the eye so that you aren't lost in all of the effects. Great expression! When combined with your styling you give off a cold, harsh vibe that is perfect for a Magitek based job. Nice outfit choice; the slightly military cut plus the bits of tech fit your theme. The angle of the shot and the placement of your elements are wonderful for this. It was wonderful having you here this cycle!
Stephen Fairbrook –
Lovely coordination between you and your companion! This whole shot feels like a reference to FFXI's princess and her automata which is cool. Your background is pretty nice but you have some things that could be changed. The first is cutting out that roegadyn dude and the next is cutting down on the amount of sky behind you by raising your horizon line up. Overall your outfit is good but I wonder if it wouldn't be even better if it had some of the mammet's royal blue? Your expression feels a bit fierce and I'm not sure how much I'm digging it since I don't see how it relates to your job. I think the dusty effect is good and helps your busy look pop out of the background. Your pose is kind of confusing; you look a little like you're manipulating strings to direct the mammet, you're doing the gold dance, or you just threw a pokeball. You have some deadspace in both of your upper corners. Cute idea with the glasses to match your buddy. Thanks for giving us so many lovely shots this cycle!
Annouille Andouillant –
You really nailed the red mage aesthetic! You made good use of a lot of new glamour items here; and you chose your 'sword' well. That cocky smirk makes you seem even more fabulous than usual. Unfortunately, you left far too much empty scenery behind you on either side which makes me think that perhaps this shot would have been more effective if it had been taken in another location. The dramatic lighting on Annie himself works well and gives your outfit a neat look, almost like it's been frosted with ice, which contrasts very well with the fire. I think if you had sacrificed us seeing your whole outfit with more of a zoom this would have looked less empty. It kind of looks like you have your own magical girl sequence going on in the middle of a normal scene. Your pose was very well chosen as it shows off the heels, cape, cool hat, and a carefully edited out far blade. I'm so happy that you decided to join us for this cycle!
Xev:
Eldaena Vonxandra:
Eldaena has heard all the commentary about being doll-like and has retaliated by unleashing the big guns on us. Dressed as a terminator inspired marionette, Eldaena is directing traffic in a way that could be altogether frightening for those other two judges that often compared her to a doll. *Points at the judges above her* It was them, not me! Hopefully I can sit out this firing-squad Chucky fest unnoticed down here in my quiet little corner. Just in case my compatriots here fail to survive this week, I shall have to point out the exquisite use of composition and spell effects that make this entire composition just feel electric. Every inch of visual real estate in this shot is full of interesting colors and effects yet none of them detract from the stately presence of our doll like beauty queen.
Stephen Fairbrook:
Everybody’s favorite plate of home fries is finishing this contest strong with a sprightly jig. In fact, the costume styling is so unreal, that it brings back many painful memories of leveling Puppetmaster from my noob days in ffxi. Sometimes I still awake in a cold sweat remembering those Puppeteer Churidars. Don’t let the name fool you; they were basically slops with some gold embellishments super glued on. There is nothing quite as humbling as being that corpse on the floor in tacky gold-trimmed slops with a puppet lying nearby. It leaves people with questions that most dare not ask. Stephen Fairbrook however is cuter than a bushel of baby russets in this getup and the minion pulls the whole look together flawlessly.
Annouille Andouillant:
Normally, this would be the part of the review that I beckon Andouille closer so that we may gaze into his enchanting eyes and savor the sultry features of his handsome face. However, this week we are beset by a shoe game so fierce, it’s a wonder those spell vapors in the backdrop haven’t melted from the rays of fabulousness alone. If he pulled the camera in closer on those shoesies, I would be concerned not only for myself, but also for our readers that the glamour might radiate through our very monitors and burn the flesh off faces everywhere. This is a fitting tribute to the rapier wielding red-mage and a genuine marvel of in-game fashion. It’s no wonder the background is literally on fire.
Now it is on to what everyone has been waiting for but first we have a few things to say so I hope you will put up with us. If not – well, then you can just skip to the winners (if you want to make us sad…).
Models:
You are more than amazing, every single one of you! We had such great talent (as always!) and not only did you knock it out of the park, but you made it super hard on the judges (good, they needed to earn their non-existent pay! Lol). To do ENTM, it is a lot of work, a lot of commitment and very time consuming; we think all past models will agree with this. So it is amazing to find so many people willing to set aside time to take pictures and put themselves out there every week. Everyone one of you (past and present) deserve all of the respect for allowing people to judge your awesome images all for the sake of having a bit of fun here on the forums. I know it’s not always easy to see what people and the judges have to say, but all of you seem to handle it with grace and dignity. <3
Judges:
Thank you for dealing with the whips and chains… er we mean, for being a judge. But seriously. Thank you so very much (past and present judges), like I said to the models… it is not easy to sit there and look at 4, 6, 8, 10 images every week and have to (not only) judge them but nitpick every little thing to come up with an order. Then on top of that you have to write out critiques, which honestly is a lot of work… We know that it’s hard to find a balance between ‘am I being helpful or will it come off not so much’, and like the models we thank you for putting yourself out there every week to judge and maybe sometimes be judged (lol), but always know that we thank you for everything you do!
To everyone as a whole, judges, models, fans:
Thank you so (a million times over) very much for being a part of this, putting up with our silly challenges, judging, voting and coming back every cycle to support this crazy little thing called Eorzea’s Next Top Model. We wouldn’t be here without you, and respect every one of you for being a part of this little fandom within such an awesome fandom! Much love, much respect and it can’t be said enough – thank you!
Now that all the sappy stuff is out of the way…
AND THE WINNER IS…
Remember scoring is as follows:
For scoring, each model was awarded points based on their placement in vote order. So, if Model A was ranked 1st out of the 11 models, they gained 11 points. 2nd place gained 10 points and so on, until the 11th ranked model gains 1 point. We then tally the judge scores too, which get inflated to count for 75% of the total vote. Below are the total rankings, along with the public score count and judge total pre-inflation.
Overall Results:
Eldaena Vonxandria: (326 public, 7 judge)
Stephen Fairbrook: (313 public, 6 judge)
Annouille Andouillant: (321 public, 5 judge)
In addition to the contest winner we also want to acknowledge the model who, while not the Next Top Model, did have the overall strongest performance in week-by-week rankings:
Congrats to Annouille, you were over all fan favorite!
This was my first season following ENTM and as a fellow screenshot fanatic I really appreciate the effort everyone put into it. Great job and keep up the good work! :D
/cheer
Congrats Eldaena!!! Enjoy your month-long supply of Jendelaine's tokens, fancy dye set and spokesperson contract for Event Square...
I'm looking forward to the next cycle and the awesome shots people will take with the new tools added with patch 3.2

Congratulations Eldaena!
You have a very impressive portfolio, and the final entry was breathtaking! That and the one in nighttime Ishgard are probably my favourites of your shots, (but I would love to hear the story behind the Void Ark one). Can we have that Magiteknician job added? Pleeease SE?
Good job, everyone, for creating another Cycle *cheers on* Well do I know how stressful ENTM can be, but also how rewarding. Hope you enjoyed the ride ♥
I just wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who helped make ENTM Cycle 5 possible and the great models that participated. This is a lot of fun and I hope we continue to do these little contests in the future. Some of the rounds this cycle were really tough and I, along with the other contestants, really had to push ourselves to our creative limits, lol. I'm really happy the time and hard work spent paid off and I can't wait to see what the future holds for us. Good work everyone and good luck in the future events!
(If you want to see outtakes from this cycle or additional shots I'll be posting later on, you can see them here: http://ladyeldae.tumblr.com/ )
Carbuncleulations!! Eldaena!!!! Just wanted to say front page as also been updated to reflect your win! ^.^
Hey everyone, Tyriont here - your devilishly handsome, piratical host. I want to take a moment to talk at you, so strap in and read the ensuing wall of text in an impossibly charming English accent.
Not long after I first moved to NYC, I was in a bit of a rough patch. I was having a bit of a rough time adapting – relocating to a new city when you don’t know anyone coupled with working rather insane hours from home wasn’t exactly the greatest of situations. I’d thrown myself into FFXIV as a way of coping – by which I mean I spent an entirely disgusting amount of time mining.
It was during this time period that one of my dearest friends – who followers of ENTM know as Ciara - mentioned this modeling contest that she was involved in which was currently casting, so people who were interested should apply. I went and threw in for what turned out was Cycle 2 of Eorzea’s Next Top Model.
I then proceeded to almost immediately get knocked out of the competition with a silly shot involving a fish and no shirt.
Nonetheless, I stuck around because the friendliness and warmth of the community as a whole had sucked me in. Rongi Pongi started ENTM to try and bring some lightness to the forums and holy crap did he ever succeed in that. As it turned out, that would be quite the significant decision to make. When Cycle 3 rolled around, I took on the role of handling organization for the male models.
At least, it started that way. Rongi hit upon the idea of the YouTube contest, meaning his time would be entirely devoted to that and he would be unable to handle the other half of the contest. So, being the weaselly, nefarious, impossibly handsome pirate that I am, I did the only reasonable thing and nicked the entire contest. It was at that point that my tenure as Host of ENTM began.
At this point, I have had a wonderful experience hosting Cycles 3, 4 and 5 along with serving as a judge for the YouTube Cycle. I have so many memorable experiences doing so – late nights agonizing over who to cast, coming to know our many incredibly talented models and judges – at one point, sitting in a parking lot outside a closed Home Depot leeching their wi-fi while driving from Oklahoma to New York so that I could get a round posted on time.
However, as can probably be assumed from the tone this has taken thus far, the time has come to pass the torch. After running three cycles I am, frankly, exhausted and it is beyond time to pass the running of the contest onto fresher blood who will be able to keep things going with the enthusiasm, new ideas and general fabulousness that the contest deserves.
Therefore, it is my absolute pleasure to announce that as of now, my partner in crime for Cycle 5 will be taking over officially as the host of Eorzea’s Next Top Model – Sakuraya Kai. She was absolutely indispensible throughout this last cycle as co-host and I could not be leaving Cycle 6 in better, more capable hands with her.
To thank individually those who have made hosting this contest such a pleasure would take forever and I would somehow reach the end of this post having to type over loud, “get the hell off the stage” award-ceremony-style music. So instead I will simply say thank you. Thank you to the models, thank you to the judges, thank you to Rongi for creating this contest in the first place and trusting a crazy pirate to run things. Thank you to the dear friends I have made through my tenure as host. Thank you to the fans for all your voting. Thank you to the ENTM community for giving me a reason to continue doing this.
And above all, thank you to me for being the most ruggedly handsome pirate in all of Eorzea. Damn, I’m gorgeous.
You’re in amazing hands and I’m excited to see how you react to what Kai has in store. I’d go into greater detail but I’m rather fond of my limbs attached. With that…farewell, ENTM. I’ll still be around, drunk on rum and hiding models in my basement dungeon. Which reminds me, I need to feed Tinsley and see if the Xev-trap needs fresh glitter.
^Thank you for your service Tyriont. You managed your tenure without announcing the wrong winner and that's all that counts!
A commemorative plate to recognise your contributions should arrive within the next 15 working days.
Looking forward to the next cycle :3
This is a thing? huh....*thumbs up*
Seisha! Don't jinx it, now someone WILL announce the wrong winner first!
And yes this is a thing! Keep your eyes peeled for future contests, Kurogaea!
Hey, people! I'm BACK :D
Have been away from the game and the community for a while, for personal reasons, and... *reads the topic to see what I missed*
I missed an entire cycle? oh wow.
https://38.media.tumblr.com/1398ef33...5yr7o1_500.gif
Tyriont - thank you for all your hard work. You've been an incredible host, and even though you're passing the torch, I hope you still participate in some way, shape, or form in the future!
Hello everyone, I wanted to just drop in a quick word~!
I am very excited to be taking over Eorzea’s Next Top Model, and I want to let you know that Ty has taught me well in the ways of ENTM (you can decide if that is a good or bad thing heehee). While I do plan on making some changes to how the system works, which I hope will only be good changes everyone will enjoy, I do want to let you know I went over every detail with Ty.
He loved the ideas, and also helped refine it and helped me create what ENTM will be doing in the next Cycle. While I would love to drop a hint or two, I am afraid you will have to wait just a bit longer to find out some of the fun that is in store!
Also don’t worry – Ty thinks he’s free but I have a few things left for him to do… mwahahahaha.
Thank you for entrusting this to me, and I hope you enjoy what is in store. /bow
Edit: lol I got post 666 - and I'm taking over for Ty. Is it a sign I'm as evil as that dashing pirate?! :3
Thanks for the kind words. I'm also amazed I made it through without pulling a Steve Harvey.
I know Kai has some amazing things in place, some of which I hear you'll be hearing about soon. You've got exciting times coming up!
Hello everyone, It’s Kai! I would like to announce
Eorzea’s Next Top Model - Cycle 6
Coming soon to a computer screen near you!
Within the next month or so I’ll start announcing all the surprises that are coming with the new cycle, including the model submissions that will decide who will be battling for the title of Eorzea’s Next Top Model!
With that said, I would like to announce the first part of Cycle 6 that is new:
Two of our favorite photo challenges will be making a comeback this cycle, all of the rest will be suggested by YOU! That’s right, this is the CYCLE of the FANS and I want you to have more say in what goes on! Below is a form to fill out with your in-game name, server and photo shoot idea! The Judges and I will pick the one that we love the best and they will be used this cycle. Of course every week the player will be credited with making the suggestion!
Example:
This week PINKYPIE PUDDLINGPOP from YASSSMAMA server wanted to see PRETTY IN PINK
Dress in your best pink ensemble and show us how pretty you can be in pink~!
Please suggest your Cycle 6 Photo Challenge idea here:
Cycle 6 Photo Challenge Suggestions!
More announcements will be made soon – so start dusting off your cameras, get your retainers in order and be ready to sashay, shante and work it like a supermodel!
Here are some past examples to help you out:
Example 1:
Title: Flying Mount
Description: Show us something amazing, and bring out the beauty only flying can allow! Obviously this needs to be taken while flying, so jump on your favorite mount take to the skies and soar to the top!
Example 2:
Title: Monster Madness
Description: Go out into the world and take a picture interacting in any way you like with your favorite monster in the game. Hope you come out of it in once piece! This can be taken in any zone in the game so have fun and make it work!
Example 3:
Title: Vanu Vanu or Gnath Beast Tribe
Description: The Vanu Vanu (Zundu) and the Gnath (Nonmind) are just getting to know us - take a shot with one of the tribes, showing us how you're becoming a trustworthy friend.
Note: if slight tweaks are need to make sure its fair to all models this will be done - but only if needed and the idea will stay as close to the original as possible!
Nice to see the next cycle ramping up :3
So far we know people can submit their photo shoot ideas - all the information can be found here:

Submit Cycle Ideas Here!
Hello everyone,
This would have happened sooner, actually in June, but that is when SE decided to drop its big patch. We wanted everyone to have a good time so we decided to hold off on this… but it is time. Yes…
Welcome to Eorzea’s Next Top Model – Cycle 6!
There are a few surprises in store for this cycle (so read the whole post), but we would like to announce one of them off the bat so everyone knows what they are getting into.
In all the cycles on ENTM there have always been the fans who felt someone went home too soon. Sometimes the eliminated models would post up what they would have done, and killed it! So we would like to officially announce our first:
ENTM – NON-ELIMINATION CYCLE
How it will work in brief:
Players will still vote, judges will still vote and it will be added up point wise just as in past cycles. The change – the score will not be broadcasted. Every week the model will the highest score will be announced winner, but the scores will continue to add up over the whole competition.
In the end all weeks will be added together and the model with the highest overall score will become Eorzea’s Next Top Model of Cycle 6. Which means be really for the long haul, and be ready to work it every picture! This is honestly anyone’s game.
Want more surprises? Well you will just have to stay tuned, more will be announced soon. Now before I move on to audition information, don’t forget we are also on tumblr and they will be getting all of the same information posted here.

AUDITIONS:
Note: You do not need to have the story complete etc., but please have access to the Heavensward expansion and flying abilities in at least a few zones just in case it is needed~
Everyone who would like to try out for Cycle 6 will have to do the following:
Please take two images (one of each) on the following themes:
Action Shot:
1) Do you love a big Axe, or is throwing Fire IV more your style? Show off your favorite job in action so everyone can see why you love it!
Posing/Modeling Shot:
2) If you’re like me, the summer heat might be too much! Cool things down a bit by showing off your favorite fall or winter glamour in a zone suitable for the that season!
Questions and Rules:
Can anyone audition: As long as you play the game and have (repeating to make sure) the Heavensward expansion and flying abilities in at least a few zones you can apply!
Even if I have been a model before or won a cycle: Yes, as I said anyone can join in.
Do you know how many models you would like: Yes, and to make it fair we have a specific amount of spots for returning models and spots for newcomers so everyone has a chance.
Can I submit more than one character if I have alts: Yes, MAXIMUM of two characters per player. Please submit both characters names, servers and images in the same email so we do not accidentally pick two characters from the same person. We want as many people to have a chance at this as possible! If it is found out that the same person has two characters in the cycle by not informing us of this, they will be disqualified (both characters).
So... no eliminations: None, be ready to commit to being in the cycle the whole time, roughly 8-10 weeks of photos being taken. We are doing this so everyone has a chance to show their true potential and doesn't get removed due to a bad week.
Are you still taking ideas for shots: Yes, please submit shot ideas here: ENTM Cycle 6 Shot Ideas!
Submission Information:
Once you have your action shot and posing/modeling shot complete do the following:
Send the shots to: eorzeasntm@gmail.com
Subject line will read: ENTM AUDITION CYCLE 6
In the email give the following information:
Character Name / Server (Example: Sakuraya Kai / Hyperion)
Let us know if you have been in a cycle of ENTM before, even if you’re applying with an Alt, if you have experience before please say yes. Just fyi, this does not apply to players who have tried out but didn’t make it into that cycle.
AUDITIONS ARE OPEN UNTIL AUGUST 13th, 2016 @ Midnight (PST)/3 am (EST)
If you have any questions, please post them and we will answer~
Pass this around, like it, reblog it – shout it from the highest mountain! Eorzea’s Next Top Model, Cycle 6, has begun!
Thank you, and good luck!
I have a question... If I'll be away without access to the game for a week at the end of August, is it still possible to participate?
Models who make it into the cycle will receive all of the weeks challenges at once. If someone leaves for a week or will be out of town they can always do the shot early and submit it before they leave. :)
Also since it is Non-elimination, if people miss a week and don't submit anything they will not be removed per say, but will receive a score of 0 for that week which lowers their chance of being the overall champion.
ONE WEEK LEFT!!
Remember:
AUDITIONS ARE OPEN UNTIL AUGUST 13th, 2016 @ Midnight (PST)/3 am (EST)
Thanks! I'll be sure to audition then and hopefully get the first few shots all done before I leave if I get in! I can monitor the contest on my trip, but just no game ^_^
You all have until the 13th~ get your auditions in!
So much excitement! i cant wait!
Submitted my audition, come on, let's make this cycle great!
