There's one at the Moogle's Gift stables in bentbranch that had me absolutely rolling. i tried to screenshot but my computer decided to be a ra-tard. I believe it was the owner of the place and post-lvl 30. If anyone knows to what I'm referring, please post it. It's driving me crazy that i cant remember!

As for one that I remember, there's a Mi'qote wood wailer in the North Shroud, whose name escapes me, that constantly replaces the word "now" with "meow". I find it hilarious personally because in my troop (US Army) we make fun of anyone who says "Time: Now" by saying "right meow" and "time: meow". More funny to those of us in the unit, but all the same i found it hilarious

In SW Coerthas there is a fate that is started by talking to a knight. (standard kill 15 giant mobs)

If you decline the quest, he tells you to go get the lazy bastards at camp dragonhead to help him - kind of funny seing as this is where the fate-zerg usually hang out.

The message containing the Legacy Chocobo says "Enclosed is your legacy chocobo. Let him out of the box quick before he suffocates."

I was in group CM for 30th time and the other tank on final boss says , sorry I got to go * he was just kidding *

So I said , Simpsons is on got to go! * just kidding * then pulled boss and zap 9000 error Link Dead first time all week . I jinxed myself .

Came back to see DPS running around amok with boss chasing them , lucky no one died I provoked and got agro and we spanked boss silly .

Moral of the story , some jokes backfire .

One of the random side quests in Lower (I think) La Noscea has you collecting bits and pieces for a ship, and a Blacksmith says something along the lines of:

"My coal has gone colder than a dead whore's crotch"

I couldn't stop laughing because it was so unexpected.

Well there are just too many of different references ... i just crack up all the time... one of the things i remember were the mob names in toto-rak.

mushroom called "prisoners delight" and the "prison pudding"
