Three features I'd like to have (or learn how to use if they are in the game!)
#1 - Focus cast key: This lets you set a modifier key ie: alt, shift and when you press that key along with another ability it casts on your focus.
#2/#3 - Toggle for showing only your debuffs/buffs on targets/focus.

While not a high priority by any stretch, I would love to have a wardrobe style system.
Some of the armor sets I come across would love the option to keep that overlaid over my current patchwork set.

A perminent login que function. Not something that tells us to wait till there's an opening (how do we know there is an opening? xD)

I think being able to tag inventory tabs to recieve certain kinds of item would be nice.
Also a setting to turn off dumping quest reward gear into amory chest instead of imventory.

Sound: Make the sound effect for Duty Finder alert louder.

I would love the ability to send /tell while in a dungeon. I'm sure there is some half backed notion that by not allowing this people will focus on the dungeon, however I play a tank atm so if I decided to do 4-5 runs of dungeons solo, my friends will be completely unable to communicate with me. Also nothing ruins the "mood" of an mmo like being unable to talk with friends whenever you want. Plus, even when I do a dungeon with a friend I am unable to carry on a personal conversation because of the other 2 (for now) people who are present.

I like what someone mentioned about letting people who have already made charcaters skip opening cut scene. I don't believe it's necessary to skip the airship scenes though. The airships used to take forever in 11... the time for airship travel in this game has already been cut down so much that the lil scene we do see is hardly time consuming. It's really short, so don't worry about cutting/or skipping scene. I did think though it's weird how the ship takes off without closing the ladder hatch... but other than that, it's fine as is. If people r really that impatient - teleporting has become so simple now too, they always have that option. I don't mind spending a couple lil mins for airship tho to conserve some gill on longer trips. Hope you do figure out how to select what quests go on the tracker, and do the side by side gear comparisons ~ Thank you for answering so many of our questions by the way.

How about the party leader vote for kick option? You know, when somebody goes offline for 5 minutes, I assume they won't be returning (or have encountered the famous login issues, which hopefully should be resolved soon), so we can remove those inactive ones to find replacement. As it stands now, you would need to leave the party - wait for 15 minutes cooldown, wait for queue for x number of minutes again and pray that the next party will not have any issues.
Also, as a suggestion - if there are less than the required number of people in an instance, using the duty finder (because let's say one got disconnected and didn't return), the timer should stop ticking while duty finder is looking for replacements. Unless the duty finder queue can immediately find another member, i doubt the instance could be completed within the timeframe.

Have the chatbox remember the last chat-channel between logins. Hate that everytime I login I must manually change to FC-chat.

I really enjoy the little airship cutscenes.... It enhances the immersion and rp aspect of taking such a long distance journey. Sometimes I'm a little sad they're so short.
My preference to extend upon it. Is too have the airship ride extended beyond taken off and landing. So that it involves sitting and watching the world below go by for 10-15mins. Maybe also re-introduce the schedule where you'd have to que up and wait for an airship to arrive and leave again to set off on your journey. I loved that touch from XI, exspecially where you could miss one and have to wait. Almost as much as I loved that the vendors had limited opening times and Lightningdays closed.
It would be great with the ferry too... If a crossing took 15-20mins and you could spend the time chatting with the other passengers and maybe fishing for ocean goodies. The opportunities for roleplay and meeting new people during these journeys would be wonderful.
