u realize their number is NOT toll free right? so that will do nothing but run up your phone bill just for them to tell you that they can't give you anything.

From the page where they give you the 20 digit code:
"Input this code, when prompted, after logging in to the game for the first time.
Alternatively, please go here to redeem the code."
But if we dont have an active account (because we cant input the code), then how would you expect us to login first then input the code?
Hello all,
I too am having a Wrong Region issue - I'm an old 1.0 PC Owner with only 2 months played time (so i'm not legacy)... I decided to pre-order the PC version to gain Early Access, in-game loot, and help support FFXIV... I do not own a PS3, so pre-ordering that version was not an option...
After receiving my pre-order code, I rushed to input it on the website - I was met with many error 3s... I've since beaten the error 3 and was given an RAAE code, only I'm NA - So I need an RAAU...
So now I'm left with 2 questions after looking on the internet far and wide for a fix...
1) even if I was to get an RAAU code, would I be able to register for EA since they're both PC accounts?
2) how the hell am I supposed to get an RAAU code instead of my RAAE? I've attempted all the fixes, attempted to contact Square (which is nigh impossible, btw), and everything else under the sun...
This is beyond disheartening... I played FFXI for over 7 years and would have played FFXIV much longer during 1.0 (especially towards the end when Yoshi took over), but I was deployed as a USMC infantry-man during majority of it's stay...
So Square, when are we gonna hear something official to these questions?
If this helps, here's the Square Enix phone number for the United States. The representative was able to assist me.
(858) 790 7529
What about us people that got automatically redirected to the EU website and orded a key through them, are we able to contact support and exchange it for a NA key or what? fuckk!
They need to give an official answer about this. A call to SE from where I live would cost more than the game itself.
