There seems to be a demand for one legacy and one non-legacy roleplay server. Will there be one of each?

Also, as the RP community chose Balmung back in 1.0 as the unofficial roleplay server, will Balmung now be designated the official legacy RP server? It would cause the least amount of upheaval.

Here's my addition to the quote above me, taken from a little over a year ago:


"GamerEscape: You told Famitsu that you are thinking about making new servers focused on different languages. Are there any plans to designate roleplay servers? I know the players on Besaid would love to be officially recognized as an RP server.

Yoshida: We do recognize a need to set up a designated roleplaying world. We will look into this in a proactive manner!"


There were other posts by moderators and staff regarding this, though the last official recognition of RP servers was back in June of 2013 when the Square Enix poster said that it was still being researched and that we would get information as soon as it was.


Considering that Square Enix has officially marked servers for existing players and different languages (both tagged differently), will we have a(n) RP server(s) marked in at least the same way during Open Beta so that we don't have to start over yet again?

Will it be possible to dye the tips of Miqo'te tails a different colour to the Hair/Highlight colour? Caould this be added to the features the Barber will provide?

I miss my white tail-tip T______T

Will you be bringing back foundation day as an in game event/holiday? I enjoy the holidays but this one is specific to FFXIV lore not just real life events, so I hope you bring it back.

will there be alot of required grouping? I really like grouping

Can you give us any information about any other new classes or jobs besides the ones we know of?

Will hair styles across all races/clans be allowed for picking in the released version of FFXIV ARR?

IE: Will f highlander be allowed to have the same hair style as f midlander, or even f roegadyn?

Ive heard in the past there will be airships that players will be able to get/fly is this true?

Will characters be able to base their allegiance in Frontlines on the nation their free company is linked to rather than their grand company?

(If not free companies that want to run frontlines will be forced to join the same grand company)

PLEASE READ: I have spent countless hours (more than many darklight seekers) leveling DoL and DoH classes so that I can gather/craft HQ materials that make the highest HQ gear possible. For all that work I feel a little slighted.

Currently there isn't much benefit to craft great gear when you can raid dungeons for better gear in less time. Do you have plans to introduce exclusive high level gear only available from the greatest crafters in Eorzea?
