Alright nitpick all the historical procedences, despite the colonization of ,mexico at least, lasting 300 years. The Alexandria that makes contact with Tural doesn't use the european aesthetics. Uhm. The Inquisition occurred in Europe, by Europeans against (mostly) Europeans. The European genocide of the indigenous people of the Americas killed an order of magnitude more people than the Holocaust.
