What is going on with Square Enix and the 14 team?

Look we all know the XIV dev team is spread thin at the moment and it's clearly due to all this focus on Ultimate and Savage content, they should just scrap all that nonsense and focus on the content that matters; Lord of Verminion

I can't wait to watch the first clear of Dragonsong. I haven't tried the new pvp yet but I'm planning on breaking out one of my healers for it. I've heard people mention that it's fun playing as healer there and how they wish they could have the same kits in pve or something similar.

I'm not sure if to say the devs themselves as much as the higher ups at SE, but someone in there is definitely thinking "hey, it worked for Blizzard for 15 years, and now we're as/more popular, it'll be fiiiiine"
