Darkness was a spell that took boh HM and MP and did MASSIVE aoe dmg if they gave drk that id like it

another thing that bothers me is if they do add a new weapon for drk. Would they add there weapon drops from the primals?

I thought Primals would be different in 2.0. The weapons may be 1.0 exclusive weapons, can't say for sure.

Yeah.. i would say they would most certainly add them. Otherwise there will be major discrepancy amongst the old and new classes/jobs. Fairly positive they would.

Speaking of which, anyone know if/when the new jobs are scheduled to come through?

omg these new weapons are so cool their like tranformers. Greatsword better look like your armor when you have it sheathed it looks like a stick and when you pull it out the armor and stick turn into the massive Greatsword!

New jobs have not had any specific timeline announced. Basically, sometime around or after 2.0. If anything, I'd wager my bets on a post 2.0 patch to coincide with the PS3 launch. Giving PS3 players an opportunity to play as new jobs that no one else has leveled yet either.

As far as primal weapons, I do believe they mentioned the weapons we get now won't be awarded from the fights post-2.0. Maybe I'm remember incorrectly, and besides, what exactly this means is unclear. We might see a cap raise in 2.0, and lv60 variations or something, or something equally lol-worthy.

Which brings up another point, new jobs would only be at a disadvantage with no primal weapons if they're still relevant when the new jobs come out.

well if thats the case then they could beef up tall the new jobs af weapons to make them better than the current primal weapons till they add newer primals that have their weapons.

Most likely new gear in 2.0 in new content will surpass what we have in 1.0.

Dang, that's quite a while away. Was really hoping for an earlier release of new jobs.. esp drk. I'm really dissatisfied with the current jobs, non of them are too appealing to me tbh, (mnk being the only interesting one so far). I really look forward to big variety of jobs.

perhaps this thread will spark some attention to the devs =)
