At this point they should just add some definition for Abs to it and call it a day by adding a six pack for males to flaunt also.

Tbh hole or no hole, that doesn't change anything to me when i gotta raise you for the X time.
I never know an armor show belly can get to 17 pages of discussion, interesting.
I wish I had the time to complain about a non-issue like this.
The female DRG AF looks great.
SE doesn't need to do anything. How entitled.
You completely overlooked the point of the conversation, which was muted when it was revealed to me that the thread was, in fact, a troll post:
Your original thread got my upvote. However if and when the DRK gear for females has (Or does not have) a midriff cut out of it, you cross the line when you demand it be changed. It's not yours. You can call it dirt, but when you screw with something someone else created, it's defacement.
'Critiques' based on personal opinion are just that, personal opinion and are fine. Influence towards future designs (or ideally future options and variants) is feedback that can be weighed in on. The final design is still left to the decision of the development heads.
The line is drawn at demands of destroying something (IE, making a variant no longer available) simply based on an outspoken number's aesthetic values, which is fundamentally wrong. It literally meshes the equivalent of revisionist history and book burning - an act among the darker societal steps in human history, which you seem to accept casually. If I get labeled for calling out such a synonym, so be it. It's greatly disturbing and should not be encouraged.
Furthermore there is literally no point to having it simply just one way. We've got three variations on the gear already. One of which is colorable, so obviously them expanding the item files to provide options isn't really a concern for them. So why this isn't seen as a valid route by the players protesting the exposure of a bit of belly is beyond me.
I personally don't like the midriff for my character. It completely contrasts the image I make for her. But there is plenty of other, beautiful pieces gear for me to explore as options for my character.
So, to meet your request for progression there was an idea presented in my FC about that that I like rather well: Armor Variants. We have gear that changes slightly with the /visor function, where parts completely disappear, move, or reappear with a simple emote command (Think Amon's hat. Scholar's hat, etc.) Why not have questionable pieces of body armor operate similarly? Might actually give some option for male characters who want to show a bit more skin to do so as well.
My thoughts exactly, so many people feel self entitled over a single design, if you don't like the hole then just glamour it to something else, there are many designs i wish could be cooler or be adjusted, but instead of complaining accept some people might like the design and just wear something different if that one thing turns you off of it.
Also for the idiots complaining about gender equality, a lot of women like feeling sexy when it comes to their avatars so don't speak as though all women find this distasteful, i know plenty who like the design, and as a few others have pointed out this game does a great job of not just adding sexy female versions of armour but instead a huge majority is similar in design between the sexes, and this dragoon set at least has a reason for being more open due to dragoons needing to be more flexible when jumping and such.
Go make a thread campaigning for something that actually matters and effects the game negatively.
