[Fun] Why do you use a female character?

I tend to play characters I can identify with.

I'm a really petite female, so I play a miqo'te because she's a really petite female.

Some people might think this is 'boring'... "You're creating a character in a fantasy world; it can be whatever you want!" But... I don't know, I just prefer to do it this way. I've never thought about having a male character, although I guess I'm not against it... I just don't identify with it.

Oh, I'm definitely not being modest! I am very small. :P I loved that you could choose your character height down to exact inches because I chose exactly 5 feet like me... Seriously, my character is my EXACT size. >_>;;

See my above post, pretty sure it applies to you too.... But okay! Erm, I play lalafell because it shows that I don't take the vanity of characters too seriously, my girl friend plays Lalafell because she thinks they're cute. So I've always thought that most people play it for those same reasons! I hope I answered your question <3

While my main character is a male (that looks exactly like me) I do have a female miqo'te to play with (that sounds a bit weird sorry)

why do I play with a female miqo'te? because they are beautiful and I prefer to see beautiful things on the screen of my computer. my wife agrees with me too.

I usually play female chars because I don't play any videogame thinking I'm the char on screen, and I favor females because the sexyness and better desings,being fighting games, rpgs, etc

I love games that let you customize your char design,and since one of my hobbies is drawing I usually tend to create some of my OCs

Well, I'm a female IRL so female in-game. Easier for me to role-play too. I love my Highlander (except the hair...hopefully 2.2 adds some good short-mid length hair that doesn't clip every crown/mask horribly) and even though I still consider changing to a female Roe, I just can't give up what I have now.

I am considering making a male alt...
Male Elezen mages are really easy on the eyes (I've annoyed one I play with lol)...and unlike some people here, I like the male WHM AF "pants" (I really hate the female version and can't wait for vanity to get something to cover it properly)...
Also considering a male Roe, but I can't use the Darklight Robes as vanity, and I love them on male Roe...
While I like some male Highlanders...I don't want to have the same race twice. As for the others...can't stand cat-people nor Midlanders (both genders) and Lalafell...I'm not a Lalafell...
