I'm fine with the whole button mashing thing, that's all any game really is, some faster than others. The delay and animation times need to fixed in this game to improve battle. Not to mention the animations are just giant flashes of different colors. Kinda sucks :3
Well I don't know about the rest of you, but I logged in today, killed a couple things... thought "Why bother" and logged out. I know it's free but I didn't pay to play a game in beta. I find it really hard to come back into a game that is so far from being complete. There is absolutely nothing drawing me, no epic story, no special job, not even a LS because they keep falling apart from people leaving the game.
I'm not hating... I'm not. I played XI so I know just how much potential this game has... but potential does not make it worth playing right now. Hopefully the next big patch brings enough to pull people back in... maybe even see some folks somewhere other than Ul'dah.
I'm wondering why this thread hasn't been shut down. It was pointless to begin with, and the last several pages have nothing to do with the original topic anyways.
