YAY! I am now Armed to the Teeth!
YAY! I am now Armed to the Teeth!
Last job was Warrior which is kind of poetic as I started out as a lowly Marauder in Uldah back in the day. Also Archer was one of the classes I leveled last in 1.0 cause I hated the cost of arrows, but now it is my main and my first relic.
I see. Also, that was in Hymmnos, the artificial language of that game, so you were not supposed to xD
Was just quoting a line a hymmnos song starts with in an alternate way. You can see an approximate meaning here. I really like how deep the background for the game is. I wish we knew as much about Eorzea. I guess the Lore section works well for that, but it's still not enough imho. Also crafting. How I wish SE copied the way ar tonelico's system works...
Aww, I didn't know I'm your favorite lala-mnk :3Quote:
@Millerna:
Are you trying to lure my favourite Lala-MNK on your server? O.O!
Ahhh! lol! It looks a bit like they rolled their heads over their keyboards xD
Of course you are! :3
@Aldora:
There's another favourite thing from the Netherlands now, I usually forget because we only have it in December: Speculaas (but formed like pepernoten)
So tasty when dipped into cappuccino *0*
It was similar to my experience, but i started out with Archer in 1.0. I did have a lot of problems keeping my arrows up to date at the early game. After a while i switched to Conjurer. It was the first class i leveled to 50. I fell in love with both my Bard and my White Mage, once the Jobs were released. The only downside was that i still had to buy arrows and that they clogging up my inventory. lol
Now in 2.0, my White Mage is my favored class with Bard as a close 2nd. (Thank the Twelve that i don't have to buy arrows anymore! \(^_^ )/ )
For those who don't know what "Speculaas" is:
"Speculaas" is a type of spiced shortcrust biscuit, traditionally baked for consumption on or just before St Nicholas' feast in the Netherlands (December 5), Belgium (December 6), and Northern France and around Christmas in Germany. In recent decades it has become available all year round. Speculaas are thin, very crunchy, slightly browned and, most significantly, have some image or figure (often from the traditional stories about St. Nicholas) stamped on the front side before baking; the back is flat.

A variation would be the "Filled Speculaas":

In the United States, New Zealand and Australia, Speculaas are often sold as "Belgian Spice Cookies", "Dutch Windmill cookies" or "Biscoff cookies".
awww our art director...
is leaving SE...
hmm maybe Vergil should be the new one then he can put his mini yoshi in game
In Germany we 'celebrate Nikolaus' on 6th of December too ^^
Speculaas or 'Spekulatius' is sold here, with all the other christmas themed sweets, already around October. Those companies and supermarkets are really crazy when it comes to such stuff x.x
Our speculaas tastes a bit different, not that spicy, (maybe depends on the bakery) but I like the ones which are covered in chocolate on one side /drool
Still, the dutch one tastes best! Plus: It smells fantastic.
All in all my favourite christmas candy is: Baumkuchen! ('Treecake' badly translated)
What is your fav. christmas candy? :o And do you guys think there'll be special christmas recipes for GRM?
