Obviously your Blue is a bit high. I'd personally go with x2 Apple (raise red, lower green/blue) > x1 Pineapple (further lower blue, raise green back to correct spot + red to about where it needs to be > x3 Apple + x3 Pear alternate (keeps your r/g levels the same, while lowering blue to appropriate level. Make sure you are alternating Apple > Pear > etc.).

This will bring you very close to what you are looking for. Hopefully right on the money, but again RNG and unknowns involved.

My theory is that the message means your color will change. So, if you fed him one apple and got the message, sure, your color will change, but it's extremely unlikely that it'll jump right to Grape. If you give one of each and get the message on the last one, you might get to where you want to go, or you might not be. If you get the "New Feathers" message on one hit and do not get it on the next, then (if I'm right) you've gone back to Royal Blue. Possible if like, the Pear hits only Red, lowering it, and the Pineapple hits only Red, raising it. But, a combination of those there fruits should trend toward the values you're looking for.

Again, as others have said, this isn't an exact science. There's a large RNG component. You can mitigate it by taking smaller steps, but never end on a feed that doesn't give a message, because you won't see a change if you do.

This thread is gigantic, so sorry if this has been asked already, but any idea on how to go from Rose Pink to Lotus Pink? I was thinking Doman plums would do the trick.

If I understand your post correct, you went from Deepwood Green > Kobold Brown basically? Sounds like you might be hitting the loop we have been struggling to find remedy for.

There is a few different methods you could try. Obviously Kobold > Soot straight up should be Doman Plum till you get feather change. This might result in Ink blue however based on previous results. I'm wondering if the 'bottom out' theory will play out personally. Feed all 3 Darkening fruit to bottom out (close to 0 color) then feed all 3 lightening fruit to get it back up to the Soot black range (evens out your numbers like Soot needs). I believe someone else is trying that out currently.

I'm really wondering if with these dark colors we are all getting our blue a little low, and our reds a little high. One thing I'm thinking is because of SE rounding into color ranges, having your green be mid-high, with blue being rather low, and red high is what is happening in this circular coloring. Something I'd be interested to see if works is feeding x1 Berry (gets blue back up) > x1 Doman Plum. I personally think this could work.

People keep saying RNG, but I personally think it has more to do with our unseen color ranges that are rounded. Obviously SE has to have some sort of tolerance for bringing 3 separate numbers into a color range.

Anyone have experience in making either an ice blue or Iris Purple from Default? I'm done wasting my FC's fruit chasing the Soot Black Whale and HOPEFULLY my batch of fruit will be done today.

Also, does feeding it a Han Lemon erase any other food you fed it in that time? Would be nice to get back to default by mid day so that I try going either Ice Blue or Iris Purple and see wut I get tonight (fed it some fruit earlier and it's set to change by 6 pm here ... hoping the batch of lemons is done before then).

EDIT- Read that the Han Lemon changes are instant so yeah, just need the Ice Blue or Iris Purple bits.

This thread is getting massive, helpful but massive, and I think some of the important info for newcomer's is getting lost. I tried to consolidate some of the key points in this new thread:

Also for those wondering about alternating, the reason I'm suggesting this in regards to *soot black* requests, is because we simply don't know if there is a color floor or where it is exactly. I'm simply trying to keep people from hitting it (unless intentionally leveling out all colors) because it'll throw off the color proportions.

In the mid range of numbers it won't matter as much, but I do it just to keep track of things.

Have you tried Valfruits?
FC mate only used those and got through different shades of pink.

ive been bouncing around ink blue, kobold brown, and deepwood green trying various methods. at deepwood green i tried the valfruit and got ink blue. from ink blue tried 1 pineapple and got kobold brown from there tried a plum and got ink blue again. so idk.

my stable condition has always been good though. have we confirmed whether or not stable condition influences values?

Appreciate the reply, I'll try the Plums then come back to say whether I achieved Soot Black or Ink Blue.
