Even for the beard a more masculine face is needed, if it's too mutch on the girl side it will look weird. Unless you really want to have a girl with a beard, then it's ideal.

Your post really got me thinking. I drew this for better lack of words of what I wanted, facial hair wise and masculinity wise.
No matter how I drew it, it's too true that a slightly more masculine face of face 4 is needed. I like male viera. But we all have the perfect scenario of our character.

Mind you, this isn't a complaint, perhaps a mixture of a request and a wish lol. The state of the faces now make it near impossible for facial hair to be believable.

Why do people keep calling face four feminine when he is obviously modeled after the human version of Beast in Beauty and the Beast? Literally a mans man that was a beautiful prince....
With that said. The beards are atrocious and look like robinhood villain beards. They wouldnt look good on any race.

I compared male Viera Face 1/Face 4 to Disney princes with their smooth skin, large eyes, big noses, and strong jaws. Then got told that Disney princes were feminine, which was the point that I really just gave up. I don't know how anyone can look at Beast, Naveen, Flynn, or Eric and think... yes... looks like a woman.

Is it really just the eyelashes throwing people through a loop or what?

But yeah the facial hair sucks and looks like Jafar. SE isn't really known for good facial hair.
