Small error in the above ^

B3 and F3 have a shorter CAST time in the opposite thing, but they have the same RECAST time as Fire 1 - BOTH rotations would have an additional 1.34s added on to them, which doesn't change TOO much, but it makes the 25s rotation much tighter and likely stops you from getting that F3 proc in with 5 F4s.


//edit: After testing it (with Sharpcast to force F3 proc and Convert to give proper Mana after said proc) I run out of Enochian during the 25s rotation consistently.

Rotation was:
Eno>B3>B4>F3>Sharpcast>F1>F4x3>F3P>Convert>F4x2>B3>B4 cast times out when Eno drops.
(Using Sharp before the B4 allowed me to pull it off at quite literally the last second - it's insanely rigid and requires 25s of completely uninterrupted casting)

1043 Spell Speed - 2.24 F1 / 2.68 F4

At a cost of 1-7 INT (depending on race) and 184 secondaries, the damage trade-off is about even when you don't have to dodge during a fight.

Where are you getting the 8 Crit/Det melds? Any BiS I've seen have most of the slots filled with Accuracy or Spell Speed, and it doesn't seem worth it to replace either of those with Piety.

My original BiS build looked something like this: http://ffxiv.ariyala.com/U7VD (not 8 PIE melds, but worst case you can swap the SpS IV for a PIE V) but that didn't minmax using Accuracy melds. Quickly fooling around with those I can easily get +60 SpS, which shoots holes in the PIE melds.

Totally forgot about it not affecting recast. I did a test run with 911 SpS because I had to put on healer accessories to reach the target PIE. Refreshing Eno was ever so slightly out of my grasp that way.

Eh. That set looks pretty bad in comparison to this set, which should pretty substantially kill any similar Piety build. I slapped that together without really thinking very hard and slotted in 3 Vitality V melds, because squishy casters are squishy.

Just sayin', 591 is the caster accuracy, so if there's a possibility to drop the accuracy by an additional few points, do it.

Still haven't seen a set higher than the one I posted a few pages ago. And I've tried playing around with 590-591 accuracy as well but haven't been able to come up with a better set that utilizes that accuracy.

Would much rather have Spell Speed or Crit Melded over Piety or Accuracy, granted if you do need accuracy that is ok. Determination is not as high valued as it was in 2.X but still has merit as well.
I was always curious if having extra piety to gear would be a huge difference but i have concluded from various sites (this one, reddit, etc..) it really does not make a huge difference.

Damn... Now I need to go and rework my Accuracy Model slightly, unless I can find a confirmed miss @ 699 Accuracy. I need to figure it out to get Accuracy weights in the future :(
