Bard - they broke my job

I finally got to the point where I dont even look at my BRD anymore. The game play is not fun anymore. SE really needs to take a step back and look at the issues that people are having. If they want to keep WM fine but they need to change a few things with how the job works. First off the job was created to be a heavy proc class. So they need to either change the way the procs work like either turn them into a oGCD skill and increase the potency to make up for the loss procs or simply redo the entire class from the ground up.

Either way BRD really needs to be worked on but I get the feeling SE devs could careless about the job. If they did they would have not implemented WM in the state that its in right now.

Another sad bard here. I loved the previous bard playing style, but the WM killed it. I've leveled it to 60 and finished the MSQ, but now I'm switching classes. Would love to come back if they fix it, but in the current incarnation - no way.

This is why I traded in my starting class for dark Knight.

Bard has felt a bit better to play to me since the straight shot proc fix in 3.1.
However I still really miss the 2.0 playstyle and wish that they would differentiate current BRD more from MCH.

Same here, but they will not fix anything more now, its a fact.

Im back to BLM as main job. I will reconsider BRD when 4.0 comes, maybe it will become a fun job again!

See one thing I'd like to happen for WM is keep it but make brd able to move. WM an active buff but no casting .

They'd still need something to "evolve" BRD from 2.0. Probably some sort of stacking buff that's utilized by WM and empyreal arrow, rather than a persistant stance (especially if they're giving it to MCH as well, or vice versa)

Yeah but that will be a start tho, at least with that it'll bring brd back during 2.0, hit on the run. I won't mind giving the same treatment to MCH since both brd and MCH are not casters but having gause and wonders on you becomes a caster. Here's a cool synergy with WM mp regent plus enables to play 2 songs with only 20% dmg increase and still no AA.

I would've liked HW bard more if they did the run&cast WM. This would definetely got BLMs burning (tehee) but BLM never was a mobile job unlike bards.
MCH has enough procs to hit&run for quite some time while BRD gets only 1 proc :s

I would also like for them to look at Wide Volley and either give it more damage than Quick Nock to justify it costing 20 more TP or drop its TP cost to the same as Quick Nock so people could just use the one they liked better. Or give it back a proc that makes it worth using at that higher cost.
