Ears are not a factor, SE has acknowledged that when they released them clipping through the shadowless helmet.

Hrothgar may need some work, but there is literally nothing stopping them from enabling full face helmets, adding the missing hair deforms and enabling what WORKS.

Im confused...how is it misinformation to say if we want Full Compatibility with Headgear, like specifically on Hrothgar, that headgear would need to be Remade?
Humanoid Made Helmets will not fit a Hrothgar Head if you factor in the Muzzle / Snout.
I guess Ill specify; a 2nd version. Specifically, if you play Hrothgar and want to wear X headgear, the Model shows that version made for the Hrothgar. Similar to how some Helmets on Miqote has it own version that protects the ears.

And I mentioned in Point 2, they could say screw it and just let the Clipping happen.

To be honest there aren't any long shared hairstyles for male characters. The longest is style 105 which we already got for buns in 6.1. along with its female counterpart. I guess there's style 135 which is a medium length braid but I definitely wouldn't describe that as a long style. There are also a few styles here we'll never get for the same reason Miqos and Au'ra didn't get them (baldness/accessory clipping with animal ears is cursed).

The best we can hope for when it comes to additional gender neutral long hair is the same long hair everyone else has: Great Lengths from the Gold Saucer. Once we have that it's up to the hand of fate and SE to add brand new long hairstyles, something huge volumes of players have already been requesting. Viera already have some of the nicest long hairstyles in the game as exclusive racial hairs and I'm pretty sure there are plenty of non-Viera players who would love to use them.

I like to remain realistic in my copium optimism. There's a whole list of base game hairs here that we will absolutely get over the next major patch cycles plus additional Modern Aesthetics styles. With that we're in the same spot as everyone else waiting for new hairstyles.

I wonder, when they're done releasing the hairs for the Vieras, if they'll convert some of the Vieras' hair to the other races. It's a very common request to see, but I confess that I would be disgusted if that happened, since it's the only thing we have.

Great Lengths looks super good on male and female Viera and I'm hoping we get it sooner rather than later because it's such a popular style. It happened with Rainmaker in 6.1 so who knows. With the base game hairs they seem to just be going through the list but they have been more choosy with the Modern Aesthetics styles. Even if it isn't in this patch I have faith that it will be added eventually.

I could end up eating my words but I don't foresee them porting Viera hairstyles to other races. What I do think could be possible one day is the gendered style locks being removed and eventually having access to every racial hair as either sex. This really should have been standard for a long time but I digress; gendered hairstyles are stupid especially when there are 2x the hairs made for each race that end up locked to half their populations. This kind of change wouldn't happen for a long time but the game is always evolving so who knows.
