Started having massive lag spikes and 5-10 error 90000 disconnects an hour after the large maintenance recently. I'm on Comcast in NoCal, which routs through Cogent. Game is pretty much unplayable and using VPN helps but infrequently.

No reference number, they wanted me to pay 49.95 for a ONE TIME fix!
ISP lvl 2 "signature tech" says to me "your in the right place sir, we can have this problem fixed for you tonight" .. for 49.95
Question is... was that protocol to say? of course it is but would it of fixed my problem?

When it happens: all the time, disconnects happen exactly every 30-31 minutes of playtime, my pings to the phoenix server have about a 8 to 10 percent packet loss but the lag spikes are anywhere from 5 to 15 seconds about every 30 seconds.
It works with a VPN to a Sweden server, but i would like this resolved.
Edit: this started happening last monday night (2 September) and i had no problem during early access and release.

Always : Error 2002 when trying to login with character at Character Selection screen (nothing will load on the screen)
Error 90000 when playing Duty Finder mission - kicked out from game and then result to error 2002 again

Seems to occur most of the time. Comes and goes. Everything in game will stop moving until it catches up again several seconds later.

all the time, just randomly drops me from the game, and it will show my internet connection is dead, but once I close FFXIV client the internet came back up, this does not happen to any other program. also notice big increase frequency between 6AM - 11PM CST, as often as every 5 minutes.

After error 9000, my internet connection drops out every time. Had it connected via wireless access point and LAN - no difference in d/c's.

Takes ages to interact with objects and npcs. Looking at the data transfer sending is in double digits (if lucky), receiving is in the 3000-4000s

This issue seems to only be getting worse, and we have not seen what SE intends to do about this. I somehow do not believe anything presented as the context for this post and I am more inclined to believe that SE made a poor choice in hardware again.
Put us back on lower concurrency to test this, and I bet lag goes away.
Since the start SE has dropped the ball and continually tried to grab "hanging fruit" reasons for problems and it's utterly disgusting. Stop with the apologizing, stop with the promises, and get reliable tech partners.

Happens: Any time of the day is possible. Mostly happens after some playing time but there is no pattern. Sometimes it's after 1 h, sometimes after 2h etc. When I have logged in again (I can do so after like 5 minutes) then it happens again after 30 mins/1h/1 1/2h/etc.
