Change/Remove Lalafell "Lifter"...

This dumb thread still going?

As a lalafell myself, I must say I'm offended that the Lalafell Lifter doesn't go high enough! We may be small, but we have big dreams, and we want chairs that tower over the tallest Elezen! In fact, I demand chairs so high that we need oxygen masks to breathe up there!

I mean, the devs are not aware, nor' care about how people in the west are too moronic to understand we are not children. It was made most likely just a satirical name+desc like how the kitty tower makes fun of miqo's. It is fine in the game but again, us dumb Gaijins have to deal with mouth-breathers who will INSIST Lalafells are indeed not canonically consenting adults despite Yoshi-P himself confirming in an interview they are all adults.

Are they born as adults? I thought Lalas don't change in appereance and all npc Lalas are adults.

It doesn't need to be changed at all, look at it from this angle: Some out-of-touch non-Lalafell carpenter out there decided to try making a profit by making Lalafell furniture while having no idea about Lalafells, it's supposed to be a joke, a very lore-accurate joke.

It's supposed to offend you and it achieved its goal.

I still love my Malala high chair, it is featured prominently in my house. Those little rats cannot even reach the table without assistance, what a joke of a race.

Full disclaimer, this isn't meant to be a personal attack, but genuine advice regarding something I'm worried about. I've noticed some FFXIV fans are a bit TOO invested in the game, to the point where a joke about their in-game character gets treated as equivalent to being made fun of IRL. Getting invested in fiction is great, and as someone working on a game myself, I'd love for my players to be able to engage with the world I'm writing. That said, it's still important to maintain some degree of separation. If you don't, you'll wind up getting hurt by stuff that's only meant to be at the expense of the characters on the screen. If stuff like this hurts you that much, maybe you should take a break from the game for a while. Remind yourself that you don't actually live in Eorzea, and that FFXIV problems aren't YOUR problems.
