Hey, the longer he stays subbed, the more money XIV gets. So giving his threads visibility just helps fund the game.
I'm just doing my part since I don't buy Mogstation mounts.

But isn't that how many reactions are on this site? Even if your reaction doesn't come off as someone shot your dog someone else will react like you did. Which of course makes you ask said person why they're acting like you shot the person you're reacting to dog.
I'm still trying to get over how there's 61 pages to this thread and the original topic got ran over ten miles ago. Impressive everyone.
The OP ain't wrong though. This "new" content is already doomed to die in a few weeks, unless they add more rewards to the shop. Same thing happened to Bozja content, DR runs are pretty much dead, if you're lucky you'll see a half-filled PF group which tries to group up for hours and hours. Just as the Baldesion Arsenal, which is run only by a few dedicated discords. Many players (esp. new players) do not have access to these.
FFXIV devs produce content, great content, but lack a lot of creativity to either "reuse" old content (without being a numb grind, aka SHB relics) or create lasting content. If an earring can rank up it's ilvl with your own level, then I'm sure a grindy relic can do the same across many patches. We don't really need more glamour relics. People that don't raid or do extremes need a proper weapon.
You couldnt be anymore wrong with Bozja and DR. Sure you cant rely on DF anymore for DR queuing but there's always and I mean...ALWAYS people needing to run Bozja for prog, character leveling, or farming for glam pieces and with DR being tied to ShB relics and Bozja this is something that you can reliably create a PF for and you'll get people willing to jump in with you. It may take a little while for sure but to call it dead is extremely stupid. I say this because I literally just right now on Coeurl hopped into Bozja wanting to level a job and there's people running around shouting for groups in Zadnor.
When there's unique rewards tied to a piece of content, people will find a way to still do it, and thats's seriously the only problem we have with Variant/Criterion dungeons and I bet the devs are already working on introducing more lasting rewards to have this content be reliable for people to create groups for.
Zepla gets credit for that. Meanwhile a legit post about Endgame gearing is over 300 on its own.
No one's trying to silence his criticism, but he's not the best person to be sharing it. As a player clearly doing next to nothing, he has zero credibility and he's always saying the same thing over and over and touting himself as an authority on quality and a spokesperson for the playerbase. He won't even respond to legit comments and questions. He's nothing more than a troll.
He lucked out that some people actually agree with some of his points.
-looks below- (see... can't help herself)
hey puddin' :D
"Zepla gets credit for that"
*laughs*
Sunshine I am laughing at you because you act as if Zepla is a representation of anything or as if the likes were because of her, dont flatter your ego too much, Zepla is a clown and all she does is stream herself going on youtube and looking at the forums, if this is a representation of anything we are more than doomed.
Maybe if the content in FF wasnt so boring she would have actual content to stream.
FF is an amazing game for hanging out, for housing, for crafting and for gathering, but anything else is absolutely mediocre.
Also I respond to everyone equally, once again you should stop flattering your ego that much that you think I somehow care about you in any way. You just said some very comical things that I had to respond to because they are laughable.
Oh, I was not talking about the Bozja/Zadnor map itself, but rather the dungeons/raids. Is anybody doing Diadem these days even?
Do people enter old Raids/Dungeons (unrelated to roulettes) again, anyway? Yes and no. Unless you work on your next relic, there is no reason to. You simply don't get any meaningful token or reward, because you got them ALL in your previous runs. It is a dead content in a sense, once people got their desired item, they will not run it again. A few humans on this earth actually need to work as well. Sometimes they cannot just login during peak hours and group up for an existing DR/BA group. It's definetly not as easy and fast to find such groups as it was before. And you cannot tell me that waiting for hours is okay? (including a wipe at the final boss)
Let's also not forget that, content activity shifts very fast after the initial release. This is merely my own opinion, but creating lasting content shouldn't be divided throughout many patches. Once the quest is complete, you have to wait for the next relic quest. This can take up to several months.
This also brings up new questions. Why is the relic quest not run next to a savage tier? Why do casual players have to run with a 615/620 ilvl, meanwhile savage players own several i635 weapons? Why not add short- and long-term rewards, which can be completed with more time investments?
And I experienced it many times. It doesnt matter what content, be it relics, criterion dungeons, Diadem, Eureka, Bozja, Rival Wings, once the "hype" thins out, the content takes way longer to complete.
Sadly I don't expect improvement before FF16 is out. If even then they don't start to do MORE then is over. Content in 6.x got dead as fast as never before.its to easy or got nothing to get from it.
And people wonder why get no response from the devs.
well time to leave this dumpster fire of a topic not going anywhere fast.
Am on Zodiark, Castrum and Dalriada are pretty active to this day, even if you naturally won't cap the instance anymore (not that you need to to clear them). Delubrum not so much, the queues are actually fairly long.
Not all the time, but I do queue for Dun Scaith and the Ivalice Raids on my own. I don't need anything from them, I just really liked those and I wanted to experience them again. Plus, sometimes sprouts complained on NN that the queues for those things were long, so :T idk, maybe I'm helping with numbers?
I just really like Diabolos ok?
.-. and thunder god
Last time I did this was 2 weeks ago, actually. And sometimes I run "older" dungeons for glams. I'm thinking of running Eureka for a bit for the elemental armor, since I only now had an active interest in it, but that'll depend on my mood way too much.
If what you're asking about is stuff like old Savages and stuff... most people just unsynch those anyway, partly because unsynching is faster, and partly because skill synching sucks. I do sometimes see PF people making groups to farm them for glamour and mounts, but I assume most people do it with friends. As for Baldesion Arsenal, I hear there's a discord for runs of it that's still somewhat active.
Like, yeah, there's some notoriously "dead in the water" content, but people do still run it, if anything just because they enjoy it. If you want those areas to remain relevant and such, then you'd need an incentive or a proper model to keep them alive. Worst that can happen is what they did with the Bozja Relics, having you run alliance raids ad nauseam. Or just get the stuff off of FATEs.
I haven't really had any trouble finding active Bozja and Eureka instances on Louisoix, though it does depend on the time of day - and you definitely won't cap the instance. Granted, my Louisoix character is just an alt, so I'm not exactly going in there looking all that often. Could easily be a fluke.
I want to believe this is trolling, but...
This is like someone coming along and telling you that Baker, Smith, Gonzalez, Weber, and Chen can only ever be given names, and that Sally, Thomas, and Juan were, in fact, the family names.
It doesn't take much familiarity, with either the name order or common family and given names themselves, to know which is which.
Remember kids, weebdom doesn't mean you know Japanese customs, naming conventions, or their language.
