I think to get the rare stuff you need higher Surveillance, people are suggesting 130 minimum. I also haven't gotten anything rare, so I have upgraded my subs and we'll see how that goes soon.

Nice work guys, with that we've discovered all of this patch's zones. Now we do the rare hunting. If anyone figures out where Salvaged Coins comes from please post right away, need those coin sack furniture pieces for my treasure vault.

I've retrieved two Salvaged Coins now from The Wreckage of the Headway (sorry, no screenshots), so you can try that sector out for now. I made the "Bag of Booty" from them, but it's an immensely disappointing furniture piece. It's a very tiny bag, but it looks just like the icon at least. It sparkles ever so gently too. Definitely something you're going to want to put on a table/shelf in a VERY small room in your house or it just disappears into the background.

Is my rng really that bad or is surveillance that heavily weighted over anything else. All I have gotten is C rating with 120 surveillance.

You're fighting with some pretty gnarly rng too, but surveillance is what determines what's put on that rng loot table. Unfortunately we don't have much of a way to determine the exact numbers other than a ton of trips at each number because the rng can be so bad at times.

We tried getting along with the sub creating website but we kinda just dont get it. Can you guys give some of your "best builds"? I guess i know that there is no real "go to" build since you can choose between being fast or getting much loot or so, but yeah, would really appreciate some of your opinions/builds ^-^

We still trying to figure out what the minimums/optimal stats are to gain the rare items. Looking at builds we will need Syldra parts, so in the meantime farming Kamacite Ore is the optimal thing to do.

for future sub build abbreviations, how about we use the convention of Y for syldra parts to differentiate from shark (which are not obsolete).

e.g. a 130 surv sub with coelacanth hull, shark stern, coelacanth bow and syldra bridge would be CSCY. this build could hit 4 locations: bottom, vault, temple, and DS7 for dat otter, with decent favor and low retrieval (40).

So looks like you can get Kamacite with a C rank mission. My stats are 130 Surv and 100 Favor. I think that might be the a good standard.

I'm still having trouble confirming things since some info in the replies is conflicting or missing, and the images in the first post are incomplete and the links are broken.

If there is full complete list of the routes to discover all patch 4.5 sectors that would be very helpful. For some I only have a couple of candidates which I think might unlock them but don't know for sure.

Sorry for the long wait on the reply, i'm just not really that observant with the forums. All I had for that voyage was a sub with all Coelacanth parts, so odds are I just got stupid lucky

is there a minimum retrieval stat for Abroader Otter? RNGesus hates me. I had clear and calm seas for Deep-sea Site 7 but i only got 1 frosted glass lens. Boooo. Retrieval just affects amount of stuff gotten right? not rarity? i'm using the CWCC for 175 surv but it only gives me like 40 or 45 retrieval.

I got 2 with full Coel parts

How are people using their Syldra Parts I wonder, I built a full set but the stats seem pretty meh so far, the highest survilliance sub I have built has 180 but takes 45 hours per trip to sector 7, and every trip there has been rated as C abyssmal so far >_>
