Yeah, I'm currently stuck on Pipin's instance but when people started get kicked en masse from clicking on Raubahn I was able to get in and finish Cold Steel. In fact, I got kicked a few times myself before being able to log back in and finish it. You'd think SE would just temporarily flush a portion of the servers so that the remaining people can get through and congestion will have thinned by the time the others log back in.

PSA: I Finally managed to get through Best Served with Cold Steel only to get stuck at the next Instanced battle, which caused a 90k and now can not log back in. It just immediately 90k's at the Now Loading screen.
The same has now also happened to my husband's character.

if you have the good fortune to get past both instanced battles you may be lucky enough to get your character bricked for the next several days for doing the first primal

Aaaaaaaaaaand Excalibur is down.

The Mass Purge has begun. SE seeks to restart the entire game and make us start from Level 1 to fight Raubahn EX and Pipin Savage.

I just got DC'd from POTD and am experiencing the same issue. 90k after waiting in queue. I would like an update from SE on this. I know they are working on it, but 36 hours is a LONNNG time to not have a plan or ETA on resolution. If there is a plan, communicate it please. Many of us understand and just want to NOT waste time spamming Raubahn.

So disappointed at the fact that We cant get past Raubhan, me and my guild had plans , PLANs!!! People took time off work we encouraged each other to play , to level , to enjoy the dungeons we cant reach , obtain gear we cant wear. We took all our frustrations out in the PVP arena. 8 of us banned together and killed every Sam/Rdm noob we could find... let the Hate consume you. This gate sucks, Fix it , its unproffesional the way its being handled , I expect more from this company.

What sort of error is "90k"

With all the money from the Mog Station how can this happen???

Try logging onto an alt, then back on your character. I had same issue yesterday and this solved it.

Why can't they just add a queue? Like how did they not see this happening? They should have planned for this.

You probably got lucky then. Didnt work for me or my husband.

Looks like there was a mass wipe on Excalibur.... but now it seems they aren't letting people back... this better not be their idea to fix it...I am 2,260.... and it won't go down...

It finally let me back in, but now that Ive touched the so called flame I wont be touching it again until SE douses that bitch with an ocean of water. The last thing I want to do is get stuck in another infinite 90002 error loop again.
My husband is still trying to get out of that loop on his character.
Swapping alts didnt help, it literally is luck getting back on the server at this point.

I have always had bad rng. My friends always joke about it. But when you're stuck there for over 32 hours, no one is laughing any longer. All that's left is bitterness.

lots of people are laughing, they are just in zones that you can't get to.

this really sucks Yoshi P! There are only about 10 people IN TOTAL on Mateus server that are past this first instance.....

Two instanced fights? Are you kidding me? Who's bright idea was to lock the expansion behind crashing, bugged solo instances? Spamming a npc for HOURS to try to even play the expansion is so much fun SE! Having a great time.

Seriously, who ever decided this needs to be fired.

I tried to do other things to pass the time. This was a mistake.

I tried to do guildhests to fill out the challenge log and am in a constant cycle of 90k's trying to log back in.

I think I will take a break from playing until I know for sure the new content is actually playable.

Soon we'll be able to get in if all the people threatening to stop playing actually do!

Ha! Any and all fixes are too late now. Its Saturday evening and I very much doubt SE works Sundays. Any fixes will come late Monday or on Tuesday, when official release starts, practically spitting on people who wanted to go through the story early as it was the main draw to them.

In some other words: Early Access was a huge waste of time and the game, to many, is now a viewd as a piece of garbage. It isn't, but you get the effects frustration can have. Their trust in anything SE or the dev. team might do in the future also went down quite a bit.

Early access might as well not have even started. All most people could do was grind new jobs in old content as well as grind gathering in the little spit of area we could reach before the bottleneck quest.

I want this game to do well and the people to be happy with it but this, no this was just evil.

How about an update from SE saying they're sorry about all this again?

Yeah overall my patience is gone. Yesterday I was fine. Irritated but fine. I spent three hours fate farming for Redmage in old zones before I grew so bored I had to stop. Around 6pm, started the MSQ on my WHM with a tank friend I always level with. We hit the block about two and a half later even though we were taking our time and doing all the side quests in the first little areas. Tried it, couldn't get in. So we went off and chilled in Costa, RPed etc until 2am, came back, still nothing. I tried again at 4:15am before bed. Nope. So I went to sleep and woke up to try around 11am. The group standing out there is even larger than it was yesterday and many of the same people are lingering around. At this point it warrants more of a response than 'come back later, look forward to it'.

My concern now is, what happens if they do nothing by Tuesday? All of us who have been waiting for it to clear out some are now going to have to fight with the actual launch people as well so any progress made toward clearing the bottle neck will be lost. Heck, even if I do manage to slip through, if I want to level with friends, we have to wait for each other. It's all a rather large mess and as someone with the game since ARR launch, I can say it was an easily avoided one. That is what makes it frustrating. It should never have happened, the response should have been faster, and it should have been fixed by now.

It can't be called Early Access if people can't access the content earlier.

My patience is long gone

To whichever dev thought it would be smart to put an instanced fight at the start of an expansion MSQ,
and then everyone else who failed to point out the flaw during checks...

Pretty much we all feel the same... if they were going to try to fix this... just close it... we may loose a day from EA... but as how things are going... it can't be worse then this... the first primal is now affecting people... we are stuck 4 quest in... and all we got is a... I'm sorry... please wait and try later... SE said they wouldn't do this after 2.0... did they forget... or did they think bottle necking us would go well...

Half my friends are past this point... I can't get past... spent yesterday and today trying... I am almost willing to jump to a JP server... get past this point and come back after 3 days... this is wrong...

And what... do we just wait and hope... most people are already 70... and still on the first bottleneck... that seems so wrong considering it just came out... this needs to be fixed...

Either let us skip these instances... or don't have them bottlenecking us at the start... or at all... they must have known that populated datacenters would have issues... and forcing us into the first zone... then saying it can't handle the amount in there... well duh... too bad you forced us in there...

I heard they updated and fixed the problem on the JP servers... but if they did fix them then why haven't they done NA/EU... i am looking to see if it's true

And now I got 90k'd and 2002'd inmediatly after, while trying to do the quest.

Yep, it works. I logged on, went straight to the npc and got right in. No problem with the next one either.

Husband and I decided to take SE's "advice". First we thought we'd knock out job quests on our alt jobs that we hadn't gotten around to doing. Worked for a little bit but then we kept getting d/ced every time we tried to enter a job quest instance. Eventually we gave up on that and decided to simply level some of our alt jobs. Managed to do one dungeon but then we got d/ced trying to enter another and again and again... I despise FATE grinding, so uh... I guess we're going to go play a game that actually works. :/

We're on Tonberry and my wife was able to do it last night... so that's quite possible. It would be easier for them to fix the JP ones first.
