Oh, you were being serious. I thought we were still carrying on the string of jokes from the top of the page. (I thought the person you quoted was referencing SCHs being "toxic" due to their DoTs... ^^;; )
When my joke is misunderstood:

It's why I love Astrologian, I love healing, and Buffing a party, but I refuse to do Random Dungeons as a Healer, because of toxic chips that want you to play as they do without adaptability.

I fell for the Necro Troll.... ghahhh, Dam you, you Trolling Necromancer.
Maybe there are just a number of players who need to unplug for a while if they are getting that tense? I've noticed a lot more complaining from people since I returned to the game, the forums seemed more chill when everyone was contributing to lighthearted threads like the "Gifs for those FFXIV moments." That was the first thread I visited when I started to sub again.
Stop telling people how to play. If they wanna dps they would roll one.
While it sucks when you get healers who never throw out a DoT or hard-cast in a dungeon it's not the worst. But it sucks when they don't break their comfort zone and let a tank or DPS hit at least 70% before pressing their buttons. Obviously excluding wipe mechanics and needing to top everyone off.
Some players might try to do their best and be sure to keep everyone alive because they just started healing. Gotta show patience and understanding.
Issue is that if you're even decent, not even good at your job, just bare minimum decent you'll have over 50%/70% downtime to pick your nose because healing is grossly overpowered in this game. If SE wants healers to primarily heal and for that expectation of good DPS play not to be put on others then they need to change things. Encounters need to hit harder, there needs to be more ambiant damage, and our healing options need to be nerfed heavily.
The issue then however becomes that since most heal-only healers aren't very good, almost every one of them I've queued with goes out of mana or can't even heal with their overpowered tools, they'll have an even harder time of it. Personally I'd like for healing to matter more since they nerfed our dps options.
I'm bored as hell right now frankly unless I'm in an Alliance roulette where the variability in skill is so vast between participants that I DO need to heal or rez more on occasion. However let's not pretend that the people who barely understand their class enough not to even see the huge downtimes inherent to this games healer design won't end up worse for it. We either stay in this DPS Healer meta where heal-only healers have basically the easiest time in the game and still often mess up, or we make adjustments to enforce healing standards and those people get left behind. I'm personally fine with the latter but we need to accept that not everyone will be, especially a fair portion of the people who ONLY want to heal right now.
