I would love for us to get access to the gear some of the npc townguards have, for example the gloves and shields of the Ishgardian Temple Knights.

Time to bump a few old requests and get our awesome thread some more attention again.

The Korean version of FFXIV has the DoL and DoH sets available as glamour pieces (with the restriction you need to have the appropriate DoL/DoH levelled).

I was really hoping for some of these FFXI sets to inspire gear from Thavnair and unfortunately nada. So I would again ask for these, I love the FFXI gear from Treasures of Aht Urhgan so much.

I just wanna reiterate my desire for going into battle wearing a tutu and pointe shoes. So many good ballets to draw from. The Sugarplum set from The Nutcracker, the White and Black Swan sets from Swan Lake, the Barmaiden set from Don Quixote, etc.

I want to wear Yotsuyu's dress. Unisex.
It being in the game free of use at all would be a plus, but I desperately want the dress.

A skirt like the skirt Mirabel wears in Encanto.

PLEASE put more GENDER UNLOCKED Lolita and/or Gothic Lolita fashion as a mog station item! PLEASE!!!!! I'm begging you!!!! GENDER UNLOCKED !!!

It's probably a concession to how the South Korean version is time metered indirectly due to most internet access there being time metered also as I understand it, and so players simply do not have a large amount of time to actually earn such gear the normal way. I can see how it could seem to be unfair though.

Not a glamour, but we should have more glasses fashion accessories. I like to put glasses on my character because I wear glasses in real life, but it means either sacrificing any other head glamour that you like for your outfit or using one of the two regular glasses fashion accessories in the game, neither of which go well with any glams I make. I'm sure I'm not the only one that feels this way so it would be really nice to have more.

I don't lodge many complaints with this game as I enjoy almost everything about it. But I have come to realize a flaw in translation around the word "costume." I wasted up to a week of my life raising a crafter and gatherer that I never wanted to create and farmed for Skybuilders' Scrip to get the Gemfiend's Costume Coffer for a glam I thought would look good for a ROG/NIN. Unfortunately, I must have misread the labeling the items within the coffer online because after acquisition; it still required the GSM job. Why? What is exactly the difference between this and its Lvl:80 relic armour? Its dyeable. I do not play for completion, only for story and fashion. Devastated is an understatement of how I felt. All this did besides waste my time was save me from spending money in the Online Store and stop me from leveling ROG/NIN all for an outfit to look good during cutscenes and gameplay. I never had any desire to craft and gather, and I still don't. Please open up class availability for these "costumes" and I will gladly spend time and money in class I may enjoy and not look like a bog-standard assassin or thief. I dress with class and not unsophisticated nonsense. Why not do the same with other types of clothing? I would love to have a healer look like they are wearing plate mail armour and not robes all the time and there might be others who think the same. I do realize that there is a glaring hole in this idea, but these forums are filled with hopes and dreams. Have a lovely day.

I am still reqesting a full glamour unlock. The whole "Visual Flavor" of class design is pointless when the team ignores it on NPCs as well. I just see some good peices on other sets that I wanna use on tanks.

Today i met another npc with an awesome pant at the beginning of the SB Paladin's quests, the guy was definetly a gladiator and yet, he's wearing a leatherworker bottom (see link bellow)

I know much people asked already, but if i can add my vote to support the idea to make all the DoL and DoH gears set for "all classes", then here i am!


So many pieces of those sets are stunning, and even battle looking, it's just very sad and a bit frustrating to lock them behind jobs that are definetly not as used as the battle jobs, and that we don't get to see often in game.

It would be super amazing, and would open so many options lore wise for players! For exemple:
Goldsmith sets screams Uldha to me, so does weaver and Ishgard

I'd also add more diversity in glamour, without adding more gear to begin with since they're already there! :o

So please please please, can you do it? ♥

We already have the coat (although.. not quite in the manner I would've prefered) in the form of the Scholasticate Coat, but I'd like the rest of the Great Gubal Library set as well, if possible? The hats differ so probably not those...

We need more dyes, more colours all RGB if it's possible.

They may add new clothing, but it does not help if everyone use the same colours.

Colour are more important than new clothing.
It's almost always black or white with pink and the other colours are hard to match.

If you cannot get the right colours for your outfit, it will look terrible and you will end up using the same colours as everyone else.
And if you still do not get the desired result, then add 2B leggings to the outfit, that will fix it.

Calca Brina dolls for Sage. Make my little floaty things creepy ass dolls that hover and dance around people I'm shielding. I already have those creeps watching everything everyone does in my apartment, I'd *LOVE* to take them with me and bother everyone I'm with when I'm pretending to heal.

I'd love to see more glamour weapons added to the Golden Saucer— like Gilgamesh's arsenal, for example. Replicas of other famous Final Fantasy swords (Brotherhood, Tournasol, Excalipoor) would also be great.

+ Less mens' dress shoes. Not that they aren't nice, but holy batman do we have a lot of random dress shoe like shoes.
Was looking for boots the other day with silhouette like flat ankle boots, closer to martens than uggs with no random colour patterns, neutral colours and texture, and the search was surprisingly frustrating.
(Closest to what I found and settled with for the lack of choices were Strife set's shoes.)

Island boots are kind of like that. Typical doc marten/redwing work boots look.

The ones you buy with cowries, not the ones you get for the achievement...

I just checked and the Replica Sky Pirate/Sky Rat sets were added in patch 5.11... we're overdue another batch, whatever (Stormblood sets) it ends up being, c'mooon...!

Those replicas were added because the original iteration of Diadem, the content they originated from, was removed. You quite literally can't get non-replicas anymore. They were a unique circumstance.

If only they'd realize they don't need the excuse of extenuating circumstances to add more... I, and I'm sure many others, would welcome it...

Replica or non-job-locked gatherer/crafter gearsets like the KR and CH cash shops do, I'm personally not opposed to forking out for gearsets and items I want, but I know that isn't for everyone so some sort of middle ground would be nice. Hell, even throwing some of the older non-scrip sets into something like the Gold Saucer would be nice as glamour prizes and could hopefully be a bit less work for them to try and sort out.

I tend to do crafting, but I would love to be able to have more to mix and match with sets. Would be happy if at the very least we could get some of the older ARR through SB sets in some way as it's a shame to have some nice equipment like the lv60 Gemkeep, or the lv50 Alchemist sets.

Might also make some of the NPC roleplayers and/or cosplayers happy in being able to use other items we've seen on some NPCs but haven't been able to utilize the items ourselves due to them being crafter/gatherer only as well.
