Mine started with a maintenance a couple of weeks ago. Seems like every maint they have more and more peeps are getting this stuff... maybe the maintenance is whats causeing all the lag!

On Mateus server and tonight about 8pm EST started lagging HORRIBLY!!!!!!!!!!

I will not be subscribing until the problem is fixed, no use to paying money and getting nothing but frustration in return.
What is interesting is that this issue seems to be spreading constantly after each server down.
I won't go into details, but all signs are pointing to Square Enix. This game is great. It deserves its chance to be great!
If anyone is smart, they will save their time and money until these problems are fixed. DO NOT PAY them to continue this. You the consumer hold the true power by refusing bad service! We make the difference.
Won't belabor and repeat too many of the same points..... Comcast blast internet 20down 5 up..... Had tech at house yesterday and he said my speeds are fine. Very hard to tank instances or primals when everything comes to a standstill every 10 secs.... Becoming unplayable
Directed here after running tracerts and pings and seeing packet loss with Montreal. I get it no where else but to the Montreal server. What I mean by no where else is any of the other games I play, and the tech at Time Warner helped me over the phone run a few tests.
It's the first time I have had any type of issue like this in 15 years of playing, and it's not fun. I've seen server lag before, but this type of persistent, intermittent packet loss, and rather large server issues is very problematic. It makes running dungeons at night next to impossible (not always, but it's completely noticeable at times where I don't move in time). We'll see if it gets better or worse over the next few weeks, and decide on resubbing from there.
Good job of choosing server location SE. Great job even. Give yourselves a pat on the back and do a little dance between all the apologies you've given so far.
I'm still counting on stuff getting better after 1st month and ppl not resubbing. If not, I'm outta here. Can't do endgame coz of the 10 sec lag spikes I'm getting.

Spent hours on the phone with my ISP with countless tech support agents in 3 tiers, despite my suspecting it was not a problem on their end. I am not being throttled according to all of the agents I have spoke with at my ISP, and I believe them.
I will let this free month bleed dry and then I will not sub. Not as long as this issue is unaddressed. At that point, I will decide whether I'll wait and see, or simply just ask for a refund and move on. I love the game, what I have seen from it anyway. I only wish I could have played it; and enjoyed it like it should be enjoyed.

Started happening after this last Maintenance getting the same slide show style lag as everyone else.
Have 3 days left and if it's not fixed I will also not be subbing....
Unfortunately I won't sub if I can't play, this just started for me in the past couple of days and it's frustrating. Whats even more frustrating is how many people are having issues. Hope they acknowledge and fix it asap or you just can't play the game correctly if you're lagging every 2-5 seconds.
