ALMOST made a serious response to that post. Then noticed it's Rokien. Moving on...

as for the "expected flood" i would prefer the Dev team focus on making the game rather than pander to the whims of the forum. They will release more info in due process, i think Yoshi is smart for not releasing info on stuff untill he feels it is ready. if he released information for the sake of information then when they changed or tweaked it, the forums would go into another frenzy.
it seems thats all this forum does, fizz like a shaken bottle of pop. With the exceptions of a few level headed posters.
most of the problems people are going crazy over comes from limited information. they state they are changing something and are vague and only give partial information and people jump to conclusions both good and bad and then neither is happy when they get more details because they already have their minds set on what they expected.
if they want to give info it needs to be alot more precise than "we plan on changing this, but i can't tell you more information now" because that leads to debates and speculation and then anger when they find out they were wrong.
I might go so far as to say that people do not complain because they were given vague information upon which they built false expectations but rather that vague information is given to people because they complain which leads them to build false expectations.
>SE not rdy to release information because content is unfinalized
>player masses get angry because of lack of information
>SE releases tidbits of vague information to appease player demands
>players make false assumptions and expectation sbased on vague informations
>SE finalizes content and releases patch notes or official dev posts clarifying vague informations
>players complain about informations because they do not meet their expectations or standards
>start over at beginning ad infinum
Agreed. This is why i dont like to see information for information's sake. i would rather a well thought out and properly translated and properly formed coherent update. something more official than the scraps of tidbits people glom on to out of lack of any better information. it would just be nice if people would calm down and realize the game is still being developed and to take information with a grain of salt.
