To be fair, Defense is completely useless on any enemies that matter in this game. I'm glad the gear is essentially worthless, in terms of battle.

2. This is also not an excuse. A lot of people don't like how people dress in real life.
3. This is a TEEN game. If it where an adult game, you could take your top off.
4. Fair enough. Long as the best gear remains looking like actual armor.
5. Doesn't make it okay. If anything it makes it worse.
6. Because those aren't played off as battle armor. But to be fair, neither are these so much.

I don't think square will ever make strong armor this revealing, but some of the comments defending it are really bugging me.

Sophia look in the corner of that screenshot, hate to tell you but no one needs to ask YOU for permission to use that screenshot, it actually is copyrighted to SE, also as it is being used as an example for the purpose of "review" it falls unde the fair use doctrine of copyright...


Just had to put that out there, if you don't want people using screenshots of you, don't post them as believe it it not regardless of what program you use to take them, they actually don't belong to you

I don't think anyone will really find it acceptable for people to be wearing this gear in a serious battle. It seems to me to be just enough defense that you can casually dick around in it in totally non-serious fights, and allow you to take a handful of pesky agro hits. Just enough protection to wander around in.
And have you seen it on Lalafell? Its even less revealing than the swimsuits. It sort of looks like a summertime nightie.

Doesn't matter if you crop it, if you use in game assets, then the image is owned by to copyright holder of said assets, the only way to make it legally yours while still using in game assets is to alter the image enough so that the assets are "similar, but legally distinct"
