I still find it fun enough to pay a subscription, and Log on to play it by myself and with Friends with goals set every week and Im excited for new content everytime plus I still got stuff to do....yeah, I think this game is still "For Me"

This is my take as well. The devs seem pretty content with how the game is going and I can't see them pushing through any drastic changes at this point in the game's life. XIV seems to have carved out its spot in the MMO world, and not everything is going to be for everyone. And that's fine! But we all need to be honest with ourselves as to why we're still here, and if we will still enjoy our time if things never change at all.

Personally, I haven't been playing much in the last 6 months and have been unsubbed for a good chunk of that time. I've known for years that this game isn't really my game....but it's always been something familiar and comfortable to fall back to. At this point though, my sub just ended again and I don't know if I will be coming back for 7.0. :X Things may change, but dem's the feels as of now! But hey, that's just me.

I don't speak for everyone but for me, the answer is an easy one. Yes the game is for me. I just want it to be better. I am absolutely addicted to this game, positive points and flaws included and I don't see myself quitting in the foreseeable future even if SE/CBU3 did some unspeakable evil. It's not that I'd defend them as some blind worshipper. I just acknowledge that it would have to take a tsunami of awful decisions to make me move on. That or a new game that lasts more than a year that rivals FFXIV. But I have little to no faith of that actually happening.
