Blame the OP for that assumption.
I like the idea of more things to spend FC credits on.

Im not gonna discuss that back and forth, i just dont see why FC should not have their own stuff as well - if you are that much against it we might as well remove the concept altogether, work only with Linkshells and friendslists and disown all FC houses - oh hey that would be a bonus, no more Shell FC!
Sry but having to find a static or do the weekly PF dance is no different from getting an FC... they already got so much solo play random DF stuff, some more "Family" stuff would be nice... Yes, sure, make it so you can invite others, just like our maps, tune it so we can actually manage it with 3-5 ppl. Heck you could just make the Loot for sale so everyone could get it.
EDIT: And yes im salty about such "nice" reactions and for the first time in a while i regret even saying anything in the first place, im sry if im sounding rude... >_>
Oh, so someone saying "mind blow" is what you considered trigger? Huh, I'm just following your example my dude. :)
Say the man who keeps wasting time. I never understood people who need to adapt this kind of false pretense tbh. If you want to argue, just argue. If you think someone is not worth responding to, then don't. If you don't think it works your time, just walk away. What's the benefit of these "grand standing" anyhow? All it shows is you can't even keep up with your own word.Quote:
Arguing with the cult is pointless and i have better ways to waste my time to be blunt.
And calling people argue with you a cult ... and you talk about other being triggered? :p
That's not salt, that's some insanity and no, you're not sorry about it because you made the choice to hit post.
We're all in favor of some added perks here and there and ways to spend our points, but there is no logical reason for any kind of group content to be limited to FCs. So much can be done without that being in the way all the way to Ultimates. You just illustrated how redundant the idea is while claiming that we need it.
An FC, ultimately is a private club. You know that when you create it.
And just like a club, the ultimate responsible for its success lie with the owner and member. Just like a club in real life, the most anyone can help you is with some infrastructure. You can be given a license, someone may lend you the starting capital and a venue. But how the hall is decorated, what programs to run, which guest performer to hire, how you can advertise and keep member interested ... that's on you.
I find people have a misperception about the problem and thus having the wrong assumption to their problem.
- Ghost FC with members not logging on: if your players is not logging on to play "the game", that means the game as a whole doesn't hold their interest, that's not an FC related problem.
- FC with members keep leaving: then you have to ask yourself why do they leave yours to be in another FC.
This is a very similar problem to people who on a losing streak in PvP project their issue is because people are "lazy". Well, even if it's true, there is no conspiracy to make their team any "lazier" than the other team. And even if it's possible to make people play harder for the win, that wouldn't improve their odd at winning. After all, there is no rule to say "only people in your team" would play harder for the win. In the end, if you lose way more than what the random statistic should, then you should look at what is the common denominator in all of those loss.
It's the same with FC. It's not just about organization, it's also a competition. You keep bringing up why an FC fails, but the success stories brought up by other people you largely ignore instead of asking the question what those FC have common over yours despite the people arguing on the other side had repeatably point out to you. In the end, let's say if SE does indeed and implement some exclusive content for FC, how would that help your FC in particular? Unless it's a magical featured implement to help yours and only your FC, it does not make your FC any more attractive then a successful FC.
Really, the only way to tie people into an FC would be the implementation some soft of loyalty reward. But that's a system that begged to be abuse, like it had happened in other games:
- People started hating the FC/Guild for some reason, but can not leave because they will lose their reward.
- People griefing by gkick members when they're about to hit the reward milestone.
Without that system, then like I said, even if it's something to be done with an FC but as long as it can be done with any FC, people will eventually gravitate toward a better run FC. Which as of now, doesn't sound like yours if you're having all these issue, and that fact won't change with or without extra content.
Are you referring to getting more entitlements added? That's obviously overdue. They increased FC ranks to 30 in Shadowbringers yet no entitlements were added past rank 20. It made no sense for them to add a rank 30 then never add additional entitlements for those FC who reached that rank.
At the very least, FCs should be given the ability to spend company credits to purchase grade 3 actions. The aetherial wheel system for getting those is awkward and antiquated.
I have to wonder if the delay is due to their stated goal of reworking the member rank/hierarchy or if it was something shoved to the back burner when COVID hit and then forgotten.
We could also use more ways to spend company credits. Even a small but active FC ends up with far more credits than it needs after a few months, and having more items that can be purchased with company credits then sold on the MB would help FCs fund some of their organized events involving rewards.
If that's the sort of thing you're talking about as opposed to content to do, then I agree.
