You don't think this comment might come back to haunt you? Lots of timed event stuff ends up on cash shop, where lots of people would like feast stuff.

Not sure how pointing out another instance of exclusivity insinuates me wanting items in the cash shop. I'm pretty sure people disliking exclusivity is one of the main reasons why we see old items go to the cash shop. Imagine if people missed out on something and accepted it, then you wouldn't have game companies thinking they can make a profit by selling previous items for money.

You could try an make an argument of "Well if nothing is exclusive, no one would miss out and there would be no threat of items being put on the shop.". That won't happen because of items like non-in-game mounts, costumes, weapons, minions, etc that already exist in the cash shop. The people that want Feast rewards in the cash shop are the same that didn't bat a eye and bought the Cruise Chaser mount that for all intended purposes, should have been something achievable in-game due to how iconic Cruise Chaser has been in the FFXIV community. Those people do not have the community's, or games, best interest in mind.

Sure sounds like old feast season rewards are coming back. It was very open to interpretation at the least.

yeah they said they will reuse previous feast rewards so i assume just recolors or just flat out be the old rewards

Yeah he just didn't say what specifically. You are right "reuse" could be a few things or mean some and not all.

Yup, since they're closing the feast they said they're moving the rewards to the new system. And since they said there's going to be mounts and armors basically each patch it's safe to assume they'll just recycle the things they previously made obtainable for only 100 players per data center.

Seems like the new competitive seasons' mode replacing the feast will now just have titles for bragging rights.

Makes sense when you think about it. They wouldn't make potentially 4 new batches of mounts, gear, and other rewards.

They will probably make more recolors - the stapler for this season is guaranteed to have at least one. They aren't bringing back the old t100 stuff unless they want to open up the can of worms for Legacy stuff, rank 1 trophies, and the like. Might get new recolors of the t100 stuff again however.

Do recolours or improved design get a pass? When I say improved design I mean maybe slight ornament design or different dye colour.

Gonna get some people who've only ever played frontlines running around with the season 1 crown and coat lmao.
