Lodestone update server names revealed

I have a pretty bad memory when it comes to Final Fantasy games. Gungnir is Odin's spear? Perfect! I'm totally a lancer. This has to be fate!

I dislike the name Bal-dung.. I read the representations behind it and still dislike it ; ; If SE was worried about people moving to servers by name, why would they pick three really crappy sounding ones? Im reconsidering transfer to a name I actually like><

Sargatanas is awesome. I joined lindblum because of FFIX and I'll am glad that I still get a reference to the best game of them all.

Why ppl complaining so much over server names >.>...Most of the MMO I played they are called "West coast server" and "East coast server" or they are just simple numbers lol. Server names are serious business!

Can we change Sargatanas to something that's not some awful mid-tier weapon?

I really dislike most of you.

I think we got a pretty cool, perfect name with Excalibur! I remember when Mr. Yoshida was throwing out name ideas about a week ago, I had merely pointed out that I liked one:

Sure, it makes more sense that we got Excalibur having come from the low pop servers, as a sort of condolence prize, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't feel honored like they were considering my comment! This could be a coincidence XD ...either that or I had a connection with the development team at a crucial moment; being at the right place at the right time.

I'm ecstatic with the name choice! They merged the three lowest populated servers and gave us, what I thought at the time and still do, the best MMO server name. This is going to allow for a flock of activity in our new server. New players, current players and returning players may choose or transfer to ours. We'll never have population problems ever again! I'm really looking forward to meeting you guys from Bodhum and Karnak - also being able to stick with my current Palamecia crowd =]
