I'm a somebody on my server, and that person I invited to my EXP group last week they were somebody too. People, even on the internet are still people. There is apparently just a higher population of people acting like sociopaths, lacking the ability to empathize with others.

See and this is the problem, I want to end up on a server with other people who treat people like they are actual human beings behind their characters and not just one populated by anti-social nerds taking out their rage in virtual form (as is unfortunately the case in many MMO communities). I found that here on Selbina, and looking around on this forum at people from Gysahl/Rabanstre/Saronia/Wutai/Besaid/etc. it appears I was pretty luck to land on Selbina.

Well you dont seem to be trying to talk to these friends you speak of, you dont seem to be caring about what they think with your ragequit posts, just seems to me like you want to be popular and nothing else.

What ragequit posts? Saying that if I didn't like the situation after merge that I would quit? lol, well that's right if I no longer enjoy playing this game I probably won't continue to play it. What a threat! :D

I talk to my friends and I'll coordinate with them when choosing a new server, but there is a small chance I won't get the entirety of Selbina to move with me and that's a shame. Because as a whole they are obviously a hell of a lot better to play this game with than some of you forum people make your server communities out to be.

If you go back to countless complaining threads before, those about the community or about grouping being a problem you'll see Selbinians in a state of confusion because we simply don't have those problems to the same extent on our wonderful little server.

I see the crux of the issue now, you other people are all just jealous of Selbina so you want to steal some of our community's magic. You should learn from our great community and when you transfer to server 8 you can try and replicate the virtual paradise we have. Not try to justify taking away what we have just because you don't have it too.

This is the sort of behavior that makes blanket merges unpleasant for the newcomers.

You do know that you can make new friends on another server dont you? I can see you as the sort of person that will get nowhere in life because you dont want to leave your friends behind.

If you so called friends choose to move somewhere different to you, they arent really your friends, for example I have already said that I will be moving with my linkshell because I see them as my real ingame friends, I have other real ingame friends as well which I am going to talk to them about.

Murugan. Get off your high horse and stop trying to be the forum saviour. There is probably people on selbina pissing their pants with laughter at the 1016 posts you have made.....especially the last few. Stop making out as if selbina is the best server. Stop making out like everyone licks your footprints in Gridania. Stop making out like everyone's reply on the forum a direct attack to you. (in which this case it is). I wish they didn't change servers at all! On a side note, I hate 2.0, stupid idea! Why can't everything be the same forever with minor tweaks! Damn change. I would much rather into the problem that if they pick a designated server, then I'll have to convince all my subscribing friends to move to the server where my non subscribed friends are being dumped off, that won't create the same problem at all though. No sir, not at all.
